Founder of Noida Film City, Asian Academy of Film And TV,
Marwah Studios, teacher to 12000 media students, five World Records and
Chairperson of numerous international organizations Sandeep Marwah is indeed an
international personality.
“Delhi International Film Festival is honored in presenting
this special award to Sandeep Marwah for bringing AAFT to an international
level and ranking as the best film school of Asia now attracting students
from100 countries of the World “ citation read by officer of DIFF.
“Sandeep Marwah is pride of India. His contribution in
developing North India as centre of film business can never be forgotten. His
vision for World cinema is worth praising” added Ram Kishore Parcha President of
the festival.
Jalaj Srivastava IAS Chairman NDMC handed over the award to
Sandeep Marwah in the presence of large audience including lifetime achievement
awardee Subhash Ghai, Delhi BJP President Satish Upadhyay, Film Maker from Egypt
Neveen Shalaby, ICSI Chairman Vimal S Mehta, Filmmaker from Bangladesh Adam
Dawla & Khalid Mahmood Mithu.
