9th Global Film Festival Noida 2016 Inaugurated |
Noida: The excitement and enthusiasm of young film makers
from all over India and abroad created a new energy in the ninth Global Film
Festival Noida 2016 at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.
The festival was inaugurated by H.E. Gyula Petho, Ambassador
of Hungary to India with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp in a jam-packed
auditorium with film lovers, film, television and media fraternity. “India and
Hungary has grown best friends and these kind of International events give our relationship a new strength and
stamina to work in a bigger and broader way.
Indians and Hungarians we all are lovers of Art and culture,” said
Ambassador in his inaugural speech.
“Global Film Festival has filled in the vacuum created by
IFFI in North of India. The Film lovers, film buffs, film students and film
makers need a day and place to celebrate their success and achievements, GFFN
has provided them this kind of spiritual satisfaction,” said Sandeep Marwah

“It is my first visit to GFFN and I am finding that the
festival is better than many hundreds of festival around the World. But the
enthusiasm what I have seen today I have never ever seen in any festival of the
World,” added Aditya Raj Kapoor actor Director and son of Late Shammi Kapoor.
“GFFN has become not only a film festival but a festival of
complete art promotion with launching of new films, art exhibitions, poster and
book releases,
music and dance recitals, fashion shows,” I have never been
to such an exciting film festival. It is one of the most exclusive, one of its
kind,” said Bharti Pradhan renowned film writer and critic.
“The festival has selected screening of some of the finest
films, retrospectives of Shammi Kapoor and Prakash Mehra has added huge
strength to this glamour show,” added Jayant Gilator renowned film director.
The festival has planned 52 events in 3 days and all shows
are totally sold out. We need to expand our size from next year. 10th
GFFN will bring a new excitement to this region. I am thankful to each and
every one who has contributed to this charming show,” said Ashok
