| International Women's Day Celebrated at AAFT |
Noida: The international Head Quarters of
ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association
with AAFT-Asian Academy of Film And Television celebrated International Women’s
Day at Marwah Studios.
International Women's Day (March 8) is
a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political
achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating
gender parity.
ICMEI invited and honored arge number of women who have done extremely
well in their profession, business and at society in large.
“International Women's Day is all about
unity, celebration, reflection, advocacy and action - whatever that looks like
globally at a local level. But one thing is for sure, International Women's Day
has been occurring for well over a century - and continues to grow from
strength to strength,” said Sandeep Marwah Ambassador of International Human
Rights Organization while handing over the life membership of World Peace Development
And Research Foundation to all the achievers.
