Cyprus: The Government of
Cyprus invited the renowned Indian film, television and media personality
Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios to Cyprus as state guest.
“It was two years back when
we launched Indo Cyprus Film And Cultural Forum at the time of Global Film
Festival Noida, an organization to develop and promote the relation between the
two countries through art and culture,” said Sandeep Marwah Chairman of Indo
Cyprus Cultural Forum at Larnaca International airport on arrival at Cyprus.
“Ample has been done. We have
nominated the High Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus to India H.E. Demetrios A.
Theophylactou as the Parton of
the organization and President
of Republic of Cyprus H.E.
Nicos Anastasiades as the Chief
Parton of the association during his state visit to India,” added Marwah.
“I am very excited, as this
is my first trip to Cyprus. The warm welcome at the airport and the enthusiasm
of the officers has impressed me. I am sure we will be able to do a lot
together,” expressed Marwah.
The five day trip to Cyprus
will cover visit to the important locations, hotels, cultural programs and
important meetings with the who’s who of the country. This five days visit will
bring two countries together.
