Noida: “We have emerged as the second biggest Literary Festival in the country. Large number of events during the festival have attracted writers from all over India and abroad. Every session is a brain storming session, full of knowledge, information and entertainment,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the festival introducing the speakers of first seminar of the first day of 8th Global Literary Festival Noida 2022 at Marwah Film City Noida.
The session began with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony by the dignities followed by the launching of a book “SACH”, written by Dhruvan Ladha, a final year student of Journalism and Mass Communication at AAFT.
Renowned author Dr. Rama Singh, enlightened the students with the new trends in fiction writing. She shared how quality literature awakes the slumbering soul and how stories have always been a part of mankind. She laid stress on the word “Kahani” which is derived from the word “Kehna” and that is what fiction writing is all about. She also said a story is made up of three parts “Anubhav, Anubhuti and Abhivyakti”.
On this occasion, Chancellor of AAFT University and Festival President, Dr. Sandeep Marwah shared a few mantras for the budding writers asking them to work hard and create any piece of writing with in-depth research and passion to be successful in this field. He encouraged the students to read good writers and prioritise the audience for whom they want to write.
Ravindra Kant Tyagi, a renowned author, acknowledged the audience with the contrast between the current and the literature of the earlier times through satire where he talked about writers like Vishnu Prabhakar and Chetan Bhagat. Author Avinash Phushkarana enlightened the audience with the expression of art. He also said that a beautiful presentation of an emotion knits a story and with a responsible pen, it can create wonders.
During the session, the festival director Mr Sushil Bharti briefed the audience about the fest and how it sculpts several writers every year. He also talked about the vision to bring together diverse writers, poets and artists on a single platform to inspire budding writers through this festival.
The seminar was anchored by Assistant Professor Syed Ziwaquar Ashar and supported by International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, Writers Association of India, Asian Unity Alliance and World Peace Development and Research Foundation.
