A group show of paintings and sculptures by the members of Rangayan was recently inaugurated at the Visual Art Gallery, India Habitat Centre, by renowned film and TV media personality, Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts.
The exhibition featured a diverse range of artworks by participating artists, including Avijit Biswas, Bharti Arya, Dr Bijoy Kumar Dutta, Bishwaranjan Bhunia, Him Chatterjee, Jyoti Prasad Mallick, Kanika Mukerjee, Manoj Sarkar, Partha Sarathi Bhattacharjee, Perdeep Kumar Chauhan, Sonali Maitra Paul, Sumit Sen, Tapas Basu, and Tirthankar Biswas.
The event was a grand success, with many visitors attending and showing their appreciation for the artworks on display. The exhibition provided a platform for both emerging and established artists to showcase their talent, and featured a wide range of styles and techniques, from traditional to contemporary. The Rangayan group hopes to continue promoting and exhibiting the work of talented Indian artists in the future, and to inspire new generations to appreciate and create art.
During the event, Sandeep Marwah highlighted the beauty and richness of Indian art, which has been an important part of the country’s cultural heritage for centuries. He also emphasized the need to support and promote the arts in India, to ensure that they continue to flourish and inspire future generations.
Chairman of AIFACS, Biman B. Das, also spoke about the importance of promoting and supporting the arts in India, and the need to provide more opportunities for artists to showcase their work. The exhibition was a great success, showcasing the talent and creativity of some of the most talented artists in India, and providing a platform for them to share their work with a wider audience. Tirthankar Biswas paid vote of thanks.
