New Delhi: Sandeep Marwah, a well-known media personality, has been awarded the Mahadevi Verma National Poet of India Award for his outstanding contribution to the promotion of literature, arts, and crafts. “The award recognizes Marwah’s significant work in raising awareness about the importance of art and culture, as well as his efforts to promote Indian literature both nationally and internationally,” expressed Abhay Sinha Coordinator of the Association.
During the award ceremony, Marwah spoke about the vital role that literature, arts, and crafts play in shaping our cultural identity and building bridges between communities. He emphasized the need for continued support for these fields, particularly in the current age of digital media.
Marwah also highlighted the importance of harnessing the power of technology to preserve and promote traditional art forms and to make them accessible to a wider audience. He emphasized the potential of social media and digital platforms in reaching younger generations and generating interest in India’s rich artistic heritage.
