New Delhi: On 6th April, the International Day of Sports and Development and Peace was celebrated by the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) at Athleema an annual sports event of Asian Education Group at Neta Subhash Chandra Bose Sports Ground Jasola, New Delhi. The event featured a keynote address by Sandeep Marwah, a renowned sports enthusiast and international world record holder in sports.
In his address, Marwah emphasized the importance of sports as a powerful tool for promoting peace, development, and social change. He highlighted the positive impact of sports on physical and mental health, social integration, and community building. Marwah also stressed the need to harness the power of sports for sustainable development and peacebuilding efforts worldwide.
The event was attended by a diverse group of sports enthusiasts, media professionals, and community leaders, who shared their experiences and insights on the role of sports in promoting peace and development. The event featured a showcase of 15 sports competition by 1850 Athletes from 67 Colleges with almost 5000 audience.
