Noida, India : In a significant move to bolster international educational ties and promote cultural exchange, the Indo Malaysia Film and Cultural Forum (IMFCF) of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), in collaboration with AAFT University, has awarded a distinguished scholarship to a deserving student from Malaysia. The announcement was made during the recent visit of His Excellency Dato Muzafar Shah Mustafa, High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, at the ICMEI headquarters in Noida Film City.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Chair for the Indo Malaysia Film and Cultural Forum, expressed his enthusiasm for this initiative, stating, “We are delighted to offer this scholarship, which includes boarding and lodging for a period of three months. The selected student will have the opportunity to pursue any of the creative courses offered at AAFT University. This scholarship is a testament to our commitment to fostering international education and cultural exchange. We are proud to be the only institution in the country that has awarded 196 scholarships to students from 196 different countries worldwide.”
His Excellency Dato Muzafar Shah Mustafa lauded the initiative, remarking, “We are pleasantly surprised and deeply appreciative of this generous scholarship. We will ensure that the most deserving student from Malaysia avails this opportunity for higher education at AAFT University. This initiative will undoubtedly strengthen the educational and cultural bonds between Malaysia and India.”
The scholarship, a part of AAFT’s broader mission to enhance global educational standards and promote cultural diversity, will enable the selected Malaysian student to immerse themselves in an enriching academic environment at one of India’s premier institutions for media and arts education. The scholarship includes comprehensive support, covering tuition, accommodation, and other necessary expenses, thereby allowing the student to focus entirely on their academic and creative pursuits.
This initiative reflects the shared vision of ICMEI and the Malaysian High Commission to nurture talent and provide students with unparalleled opportunities to excel in their chosen fields. The collaboration is expected to pave the way for future educational exchanges and strengthen the cultural ties between the two nations.
