Noida – In a significant development aimed at enhancing cultural ties between India and Oman, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder of Noida Film City and President of Marwah Studios, has been nominated as the Chair of the newly established Indo-Oman Film and Cultural Forum. This announcement was made by H.E. Issa Saleh Abdullah Saleh Al Shibani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to India, during a ceremony held at Marwah Studios.
Expressing his confidence in Dr. Marwah’s leadership, Ambassador Al Shibani remarked, “We are proud to have Dr. Sandeep Marwah as Chair for the Indo-Oman Film and Cultural Forum. His vast experience in developing international relations, coupled with his prominent position in the media and entertainment industry both in India and globally, will naturally propel the Indo-Oman Cultural Forum, which is just a new entity, to great heights.”
In response, Dr. Marwah expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the cultural ties between the two nations. “I am thankful for the trust and confidence shown in me, and I promise to deliver my best for the development and promotion of relations between India and Oman,” he said.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah is a distinguished figure in the global media and entertainment industry, holding nine world records. He is the visionary behind the creation of Noida Film City and serves as the Chancellor of AAFT University. His contributions have been recognized internationally, with honors from the British Parliament on eight occasions, as well as accolades from the New York State Assembly, Bavarian Parliament, and Wales Parliament. His representation of India on numerous global platforms further underscores his influence and dedication to cultural diplomacy.
