New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University, inaugurated the 78th session on the “Need for Positive and Constructive Journalism in India.” Organized by RJS Media under the leadership of Uday K. Manna, this seminar took place at the Ramakrishna Mission in New Delhi, focusing on the critical role of media in fostering positivity and constructive narratives.
Reflecting on three decades of dedication to promoting positive media, Dr. Marwah emphasized, “For thirty years, we at the International Journalism Centre have steadfastly believed in the power of positive and constructive media. We have successfully brought together over 40,000 media professionals who share this commitment to supporting good work in society. At AAFT School of Journalism, we continue to emphasize the importance of positive and constructive media.”
The event saw the participation of Swami Sarvalokanand Ji Maharaj, Secretary General of Ramakrishna Mission, who encouraged journalists to embrace positivity in their work and contribute to the nation’s development across business, profession, art, and culture.
Uday K. Manna, the driving force behind RJS Media, shared insights into the organization’s vision, mission, and objectives. The event also featured the release of three books, each contributing to the broader conversation on constructive journalism.
In recognition of his tireless contributions to the field of journalism, Dr. Marwah was honored by the organization. His pioneering efforts as the founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios, AAFT University, and the International Journalism Centre, among other institutions, have significantly impacted the media landscape in India and abroad. The ceremony concluded with awards presented to individuals who have championed positive and constructive journalism both in India and internationally.
