New Delhi, September 2025: The 2nd International Conference on Transforming Higher Education & Skilling Towards Viksit Bharat @ 2047 was successfully organized by the Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The conference brought together leading policymakers, educationists, and industry experts to deliberate on India’s vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University and Founder of Marwah Studios, was the Special Invitee at the conference. His presence was widely appreciated for his pioneering role in media and creative education and his consistent efforts toward skilling the youth of India.

The event was inaugurated in the august presence of Dr. Abhay Sinha, Director General, SEPC, and Prof. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman NETF, Chairman EC–NAAC, and NBA, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Prof. Anil Sahasrabudhe, in his address, emphasized the urgent need to innovate within the education sector, aligning curricula with futuristic skills and values to meet the aspirations of Viksit Bharat @ 2047.

Dr. Abhay Sinha highlighted the critical role of the service industry in shaping India’s economic growth and stressed the importance of integrating skilling and higher education to position India as a global hub of knowledge and talent.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah underlined that “Education must go beyond degrees and certifications; it should empower youth with creativity, confidence, and competence. Skilling, reskilling, and upskilling are the true pillars on which Viksit Bharat will stand. We at AAFT University are committed to building this vision by nurturing innovation and global standards in education.”

The conference concluded with a collective call to strengthen collaboration between academia, industry, and policymakers to accelerate India’s journey toward a knowledge-driven, self-reliant, and developed nation by 2047.
