| CINEKIND Award of Film Federation of India Showcased at International Fashion Summit at Marwah Studios |
Noida: The prestigious CINEKIND Award of the Film Federation of India (FFI) was prominently displayed during the International Fashion Summit “Fashion Beyond Borders” at Marwah Studios, hosted by the AAFT School of Fashion & Design. The powerful presence of the award added a strong message of social responsibility, compassion, and purpose to the global fashion gathering.
Addressing the international audience, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Vice President of the Film Federation of India and Chair of the CINEKIND Award Committee, announced that 4th October 2026 will mark the Second Edition of the CINEKIND Awards, to be held in Mumbai. He emphasized that the CINEKIND Awards celebrate films and filmmakers who highlight humanitarian values, social causes, and positive change through cinema.
In a striking visual statement, the students of AAFT School of Fashion & Design wore specially designed black, attractive T-shirts to highlight and promote the CINEKIND cause during the international summit. The T-shirts, exclusively created by Ash Cult for the occasion, became a major point of attraction and conversation among international delegates.
The initiative received enthusiastic appreciation from designers and fashion professionals from different countries, many of whom expressed keen interest in associating with the next edition of the CINEKIND National Awards, recognizing its unique blend of cinema, compassion, and global consciousness.
Adding further impact to the event, a special film on the CINEKIND National Awards, produced by Marwah Studios, was screened during the summit, effectively communicating the vision, journey, and global relevance of the award to an international audience.
The summit was attended by eminent fashion leaders and creative professionals including Ruhi Hak, Founder of Hopeblit, USA; Shagun Gupta, CEO of LA Fashion Closet, Los Angeles; Septimius The Great, renowned Designer and Singer from Los Angeles; Rashad Todd, acclaimed Show Director from Los Angeles; Dimple Kapoor, Designer; Anna Rud, Designer from Ukraine; Shabana Meerun, Designer from Mauritius; Davina Boodhun, Designer from Mauritius; Kasichana Yaa, Second Secretary, Kenya High Commission; Dr. Shahzada Siddiqui, Managing Director, YESPOS, Dubai, UAE; and Priyanka Chaurasia, Designer from Texas, USA.
The showcasing of the CINEKIND National Award at the International Fashion Summit successfully reinforced the philosophy that fashion, cinema, and art together can become powerful instruments of social change, further strengthening Marwah Studios and AAFT as global platforms for creative excellence with a cause.
