| ICMEI and AAPU Sign Landmark MoU to Strengthen Unity and Cooperation Across Asia & the Asia-Pacific |
Noida, India: A significant step toward regional unity and strategic collaboration was taken today with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ICMEI – International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and AAPU – Association for Asian Pacific Union. The MoU aims to jointly promote cooperation, cultural exchange, and institutional collaboration across Asia and the Asia-Pacific region.
Speaking on the occasion, J S Saluja, President of AAPU, emphasized that the partnership will act as a unifying platform for nations and institutions of the region. He noted that the alliance is committed to fostering dialogue, collaboration, and collective growth through sustained engagement in cultural, educational, and policy-driven initiatives.
Dr Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, described the MoU as a visionary move to build bridges among countries of Asia and the Asia-Pacific. He underlined ICMEI’s long-standing role in cultural diplomacy and international cooperation, adding that this partnership will accelerate joint initiatives in media, entertainment, education, and creative industries, while strengthening people-to-people connections.
Members of both ICMEI and AAPU were present at the signing ceremony, reflecting strong institutional support for the collaboration. The MoU signing was followed by a joint strategic meeting where both organizations outlined an ambitious roadmap to organize high-impact international programs, global conferences, cultural forums, and knowledge-sharing platforms across multiple countries in the region.
