New Delhi, September 4, 2026: The International Chamber of Media & Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), AAFT, and Marwah Studios partnered with Film Expo India 2026, held from 26th to 31st August at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, further strengthening the connection between education, industry, creativity, and professional opportunities.

Speaking about the association, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder of Noida Film City, President of Marwah Studios and Vice President of the Film Federation of India, said that around 200 students and media and entertainment professionals associated with AAFT, ICMEI, and Marwah Studios actively contributed to the expo throughout all five days.

“We have been associated with Film Expo India right from the day of its inception. Our objective has always been to support initiatives that bring the entire media and entertainment fraternity together and provide meaningful exposure to young professionals and students. The participation of around 200 students and professionals throughout the five days reflects our commitment to industry-oriented education and practical learning,” said Dr. Marwah.

During his visit to Bharat Mandapam, Dr. Marwah toured the exhibition extensively and visited the stalls one by one. He interacted with exhibitors, artists, professionals, and creative entrepreneurs and appreciated the wide range of work displayed at the expo.

A special attraction was the art section, which featured 72 stalls representing different artists and art companies, showcasing paintings, sculptures, and other forms of visual art. Dr. Marwah appreciated the diversity and quality of the creative work and observed that the inclusion of art had added a significant cultural dimension to the expo.

“Film Expo India has created a platform that goes beyond cinema. It brings together filmmaking, technology, education, art, creativity, and business. The participation of 72 artists and art companies demonstrates the enormous potential of the creative economy and the importance of providing artists with platforms to showcase their work,” Dr. Marwah added.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah also congratulated Jyoti Yadav, Founder of Film Expo India, and Mukesh Kumar, CEO, for their vision and determination in taking the initiative forward.

“I sincerely appreciate the efforts of Jyoti Yadav and Mukesh Kumar for taking this important initiative for North India. Organising an expo of this scale requires tremendous dedication, planning, teamwork, and vision. Film Expo India has the potential to become a major annual platform for the film, television, media, entertainment, technology, and creative industries,” said Dr. Marwah.

The partnership also provided students with valuable opportunities to gain practical experience, interact with industry professionals, understand emerging technologies, and explore career possibilities within the rapidly expanding media and entertainment sector.

The successful five-day Film Expo India 2026 marked an important step towards creating a stronger and more integrated media, entertainment, art, education, and creative industry ecosystem in North India.
