| Sandeep Marwah Extends Greetings on 78th Founding Anniversary of DPR Korea |
New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and Chair of the Indo-DPR Korea Film and Cultural Forum, extended his greetings to the people of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea on the occasion of its 78th Founding Anniversary.
Dr. Marwah attended the commemorative reception at Hotel Radisson, where he met H.E. Choe Hui Chol, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to India, and conveyed his best wishes on the national occasion.
“On behalf of ICMEI and the Indo-DPR Korea Film and Cultural Forum, I extend my greetings to H.E. Choe Hui Chol and the people of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea on their Founding Anniversary. Cultural interaction creates opportunities for people to understand one another better and contributes to friendship and cooperation between nations,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah.
He further highlighted the role of cinema, television, media, art, education, literature, music and other creative disciplines in strengthening people-to-people relations.
Dr. Marwah reaffirmed the commitment of the Indo-DPR Korea Film and Cultural Forum to promoting cultural dialogue and creating opportunities for meaningful interaction between artists, filmmakers, media professionals and cultural representatives of India and the DPR Korea.
The occasion provided another opportunity to reinforce cultural engagement and goodwill through art and creative cooperation.
