According to industry survey reports it is believed that it will reach a mark of INR 108 billion in 2020 from INR 59.5 billion in 2016. AAFT University offering large number of courses to the young aspirants,” added Dr. Marwah who has recently started University in Raipur.

Since the application of its techniques has increased massively, aspirants have variety of choices of streams they wish to work in. With increasing digitalization, more businesses are heading to online presence, therefore, the need for skilled experts in graphic designing, 3D animation, web designing, etc. has also risen.

Noida: Appreciating the hard and honest work of AAFT Alumnus Rajinder Saigal of 23rd Batch Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Film And Television announced special honor for him for promoting animation.

Rajinder Saigal, who met Sandeep Marwah in Cannes during Cannes International Film Festival this year, is keen in submitting his short film to many more international festivals to showcase the work he has done in animation. Saigal approached Dr. Marwah for further professional assistance.

Rajinder Saigal presented Dr. Marwah a graphic novel ‘Giddoo’ along with 58 minutes Animated DVD of Giddoo story, his latest work of art.

“I am impressed by the work and dedication of AAFTian Rajinder Saigal who has done very well in New Media. After finishing his editing course from AAFT he has proved well in animation,” said Sandeep Marwah

Ramesh Meer On The Board of AAFT

 Noida: AAFT Joined hands with renowned Animator of India Ramesh Meer founder CEO FX Factory during his recent visit to AAFT Noida at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.

Ramesh Meer is the Chief Creative Director & CEO of The FX Factory, who has an experience of 50 years in the creation of Special Visual Effects for motion pictures and television as well as every aspect of film and television production,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT University.

He has created Special Visual Effects for all Manmohan Desai films from Dharmveer to Naseeb and Mohan Sehgal films from Santaan to Daulat as well as films like Kamal Amrohi’s Razia Sultan and more than 200 feature films much before digital technology came into force.

The varied range of Special Visual Effects he has worked on include optical, mechanical, miniatures, glass shots, pyro-technical effects and blue as well as green screen travelling mattes and chroma keys. Ramesh Meer is a graduate in cinema and now teaches the art and technology of Digital Visual Effects as a guest lecturer in various universities.

As a creative director and visual effects supervisor, he has supervised and worked on the Visual Effects of more than 500 feature films, 800 tele serials as well as more than 1000 television commercials in the last four decades.

AAFT School of Animation Celebrated Achievements of 2018-19

Noida: AAFT School of Graphics And Animation organized a get together with all the students of different courses and years to celebrate the last working day of education and high light its achievements of the year.

We are lucky to start our graphics and animation department way back in 1991 when there was no soft wares to even design graphics for the titles of the film. The journey has been very interesting and marvelous,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT School of Graphics And Animation.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah expressed his experience of this department and appreciated the work of students in designing, animation, graphics, editing, gaming and the innovating ideas which they have put in learning the new soft wares, programs and techniques while using the most important and expensive computers.

The staff and the administration of the school joined the show followed by entertainment program presented by the students.

AAFT and Teesside University Will Work Together


AAFT and Teesside University Join Hands


Noida: AAFT invited delegates from Teesside University United Kingdom to see for them selves how AAFT has been organized and is pioneer in film, television and media education.

The Dean International Warren Harrison and Regional Head South Asia Padmini Parameswaran were amazed to see the facilities of Asian Academy of Film And Television at its three campuses in Noida related to Mass Communication, Fashion, Hospitality and Tourism, Animation and  Management.

Teesside University and AAFT will sign a MOU to work together for the promotion of two known educational institution. It will include students exchange Program, faculty exchange program, exchange of radio and TV programs, a festival of films from school and many others.

“We are joining hands with Teesside University so that our students should get an exposure of foreign education and international market,” said Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT.
“We are happy as our students will get an opportunity to be associated with biggest film industry of the World. AAFT is not only a window but a door to Bollywood,” said Warren Harrison Associate Dean – International.

Asian School Of Graphics And Animation Works Global Film Festival




The 3rd Global Film Festival Noida 2010 has attracted many National and International organizations as its partners in progress and Asian School of Media Studies has also now become the part of this festival to be held on 12-14th November at Marwah Studios Complex Noida Film City.

“We want young and enthusiastic students of Asian School of Graphics and Animation to come forward and get themselves associate with the requirements of the 3rd edition of Global Film festival as far as graphics and animation is concerned” said Sandeep Marwah President of the Festival.

“I am sure ASGA students are going to give their best which is going to be the world class. I know ASGA has the best facilities available.” said R.K .Singh the festival Director-GFF.

The festival has segments for national and international films, workshops, exhibitions, seminars, interactions, releases, launching of forums, release of new film, networking lunches and gala dinners.

ANIME CINE EXPERIENCE IN DELHI




Cine Darbaar, in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan, Directorate of Film Festivals, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, Japan Foundation and Asian School Of Graphics And Animation [ASGA] as knowledge partners is organizing a 3-day Animation film festival at Siri Fort auditorium on the 20th, 21st & 22nd August, 2010.

It’s the first time that a festival will be celebrating Japanese-Anime, Manga (Comics) and Pop-culture in India. Anime Cine Experience will be bringing the great anime works of Japan with films like The Girl who leapt through time, Grave of the fireflies, 5cm per second, Voices of Distant Star and The Place Promised in Our Early Days.

“To give the audience a wider understanding of Anime, the festival will have workshops and special discussions will be conducted by Shubham Mauria and Kshitiz Anand’’ informed Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Director of Asian School Of Graphics And Animation.

Apart from these workshops, festival is also organizing a short-film competition. A Short Anime corner will screen the 10 best short films and the top three films will be awarded. The festival will also have a photography exhibition on Japan.

A film journal Indian Auteur will be publishing a special issue on Anime for the festival with the help of Japan Foundation and knowledge partners Asian School of Graphics and Animation.The Festival is supported by International Film And Television Club, International Children’s Film Forum and Radio Noida.

Rajshri Media join hands with Asian Academy of Film And Television




“I am pleased to note that Asian School of Graphics and Animation has been added to the Asian Education Group for promoting training and education in new media” said Rajjat Barjatya the fourth generation of Bhajatya Group in Entertainment business in India while talking to the media students of AAFT in Noida Film City.

“We have already submitted a bunch of our short films to Rajshri Media, few more will be added to the lot in no time” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of ASGA. “We are probably the biggest training setup of New Media in India, I want students to take best use of this setup” added Marwah.

Rajjat Barjatya spoke about the importance of new media and changing trends in entertainment business. He invited students to get into better subjects so that their cinema can be used universally. Explaining the need of short films he said it is now the time for short films. He invited acting students to be in touch with him for better marketing through Rajshri’s new portal rajshritalent.com.

Indian Scholarship For Media Courses


The Governing Council Of Marwah Studios running four institutions under the name and banner of Asian Academy Of Film And Television, Asian School Of Media Studies, Asian Business School and AAFT School Of Graphics And Animation, has decided to launch for the first time a scholarship for the deserving candidates who may not be able to pay for their courses otherwise.

“The decision was taken on the 79th birth anniversary of the founder late shri Suraj Parkash Marwah on 15th june,2009” said Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios “.This scholarship is decided to help those candidates who deserve to be in Media but may not be in a position to pay for their courses.” added Marwah.
