Noida: “Fashion is part of the daily air and it changes all the time, with all the events. You can even see the approaching of a revolution in clothes. You can see and feel everything in clothes. What you wear is how you present yourself to the world, especially today, when human contacts are so quick. Fashion is instant language,” said Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT School of Fashion and Design in the master class introducing the renowned fashion designer Ashish Soni at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.

“Rome was not built in a day. Every garment represents you. Every show adds on to your goodwill and popularity. Nothing comes without passion. You have to be honest to your profession,” said Ashish Soni explaining his journey to success. The numerous exposures to the various international forums have refined his artistic skills. He was the first Indian designer to be invited at the Olympus Fashion Week, held in New York.

Ashish Soni has attained remarkable success in the global fashion world. Creativity of a designer and traits of an entrepreneur have been beautifully gelled together, which makes him a big name in the industry.

His innovativeness has a strong Indian bond that has been well merged with the western education, to give a perfect balance of Indian and western style creations. Ashish Soni’s instinctive and inventive style of creating garments makes them an elegant piece of attire.

Raipur: “Fashion is a form of self-expression and autonomy at a particular period and place and in a specific context, of clothing, footwear, lifestyle, accessories, makeup, hairstyle and body postures. Whereas Glamour is the quality of fascinating, alluring, or attracting, especially by a combination of charm and good looks. It represents excitement, adventure, and unusual activity,” initiated Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University in a webinar designed by AAFT University of Media And Arts-Department of Fashion & Design.

“It is not necessary to be the part of trends, not you have to get carried away with what is selling, but you decide what you are, what you want to express by the way you dress and the way to live,” initiated Swati Modo well known accessories designer especially mentioning about the leather items and shoes.

Jagruti Mehta Sanghavi self-made exporter narrated her story and her experience during pandemic. Luxury Consultant Madhavi Advani spoke about the prospects of      glamour business related to cinema, television, real estate, events, fashion and design. She also spoke about her association with  Italian designers, renowned painters, architects which is also connected to showbiz. Seema Gumber Event promoter spoke the effects of Pandemic on outdoor events and the tremendous change in event industry.

Dr. Shikha Kashyap Director AAFT University conducted the program and extended vote of thanks to the distinguished speakers. Dr. Marwah presented certificate of appreciation to the guests. The seminar was followed by question answer session

4th Global Fashion And Design Week Motivated Young Designers to Design for International Market

4th Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2020

Noida: “Your first impression is created by what all you are wearing. It is not the cost of the product but how different you are from others and if the dress is looking good on you or not. The international designers create new designs keeping in mind the choice of large audience. We want Indian designers to have very broad prospective while finalising their piece of garment,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of 4th Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2020.

“We have tried our best to bring in the colourful World on single platform through different dresses designed and prepared by the young designers. More than 60 countries have been selected to take inspiration from. Every garment is better than the other one. We all are passionate students of fashion and design,” said Ritu Lal Festival Director.

Designer Aastha Dubey took inspiration from the country of  Comoros, Aditi Agarwal opted for Sudan, Aditi Jain finalised from Iceland, Akshay Kumar preferred Georgia, Archana Singh  looked for clothes from South Africa, Arunav Bhardwaj loved Nigerian setup, Maya Singh and Ashok Chawla were impressed by Bulgarian dresses, Ayushi Johri watched for Malaysia outfit and  Chandni Jain went out of way to cover China.

Young designer Deepti Kumari and Saumya Srivastava thought of  Iraq whereas  Konica Gupta designed for Kazakhstan, Neha Agarwal again opted African country Gambia and Niharika Singh and Swati Nair created dresses from Egypt, Prachi Khandelwal preferred Gabon, Pramarthi looked for Cyprus and designer Shoaib Hussain & Prerona Doley wanted to cover central Asia in Azerbaijan,

Designer Priyanshu Priya and Simran Bhardwaj covered Israel, Riya Varshney took inspiration from Mongolia, Senu Kumari wanted to learn from Guatemala, , Shreya Jaiswal and Simran Kumari learned from Iran, Sneha Chhabra followed fashion from Germany, Sonam Rathore liked Afghanistan, Sugandh Kansal followed Rwanda, Suhail looked for Bahamas, Surabhi Gupta designed Brazilian dress, Tiji J Thomas got inspiration from Fiji and  Vishal Jaiswal took time to understand the fashion from Maldives.

The event was supported by WPDRF-World Peace Development And Research Foundation, Designed by AAFT School of Fashion And Design and Presented by ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry with an idea to bring Love, Peace and Unity through Art and Culture.

4th Global Fashion And Design Week Attracted Many Countries

Noida: “Fashion Designers have broadened their boundaries and opted to showcase garments and fashion of different countries of the World. It was a great idea to bring the whole World together through fashion and design during 4th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2020,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of   GFDWN.

“Design creates culture. Culture shapes values. Values determine the future. Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works. Design is the intermediary between information and understanding,” added Dr. Marwah appreciating the designers for their sincere contribution and participation.

“List was pretty long of the participants who all were working on their piece of art. Research, planning, designing, execution and then presentation of garment has taken long time to all these young and talented designers from all over India. The purpose of the festival is to promote, highlight and showcase their product to the large audience,” said Ritu Lal Festival Director.

Akash Kiran prepared garments from Israel, Anjali Sharma  and Akshay Kumar opted Egypt,  Snigdha Kaushik and Anjali Nagpal designed for Gambia, Ankit Sharma for Fiji, Srishty Gupta and Apoorv Arya planned for Bulgaria, Bhavya Shuklaand  and Mehakdeep Kaur emphasised on  Brazil, Cheshta Jhamb brought clothes from  Afghanistan, Shivam Sharma and Dimple Pal designed for Turkmenistan, Sheetal and Dipali Agarwal worked for Tunisia.

Designer  Divya Negi designed for Serbia, Divya Sharma and Jyoti Chauhan for Kazakhstan, Shelly Mohan and Esha Grover looked upon  Iran, Hasim Malik for India, Jacqueline Gurung designed for  Romania, Jyoti Chauhan finalised for Hungary, Kritika Bajaj and Mansi Chaudhary  preferred Vietnam, Ruchi Yadav and Lalit Kumar for  Sudan and Mayank Bharti shaped for Azerbaijan.

Designer Pooja Patni and MD Mohsin designed Russian garments, Muskan Duggal opted South American country Guatemala, Swati Pandey and Muskan Khurana from Central Asia Armenia, Ramya Sharma and Muskan Rastogi finalised Morocco, Muskan Soni went out of way to do for South Africa,  Rinki designed for Georgia, , Shivani Saini for neighbouring country Nepal, Shobha Rani presented garments from Rwanda, Simranpreet Kaur concentrated on Montenegro,  Stuti Singh for Peru, , Vitika Singh and Tapsna Tyagi – Germany and  Vedika designed clothes from Panama.

The 4th Global Fashion and Design festival was planned and designed by ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with AAFT School of Fashion And Design & World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

4th Global Fashion & Design Week Brought Countries Together Through Fashion

Noida: Fashion is an expression of your inner feelings blended with your environment. Like feeling changes so does the fashion. You can create what you can think. Fashion gives you an outlet to speak your mind,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of 4th Global Fashion & Design  Week addressing fashion designers from all over India.

4th Global Fashion Week had to be cancelled because of the lockdown announced by government during due to pandemic in April in Delhi & Noida. All preparations were diluted to nothing and Global Fashion Week was changed to online assessment and named Fashion River this time,” informed Ritu Lal Festival Director.

190 Designers prepared their projects for display at Marwah Studios along with the research paper of the country they were working on.

Akashika Singh researched and prepared the project on Bulgaria, Alankrita Mahadik on Comoros, Aparna Joshi  worked on Iran, Archil Rathore opted China, Ayushi Patel preferred Germany, Cheena Bansal planned Guatemala, Harshul Kaushik on Gambia, Heena Alvi – Fiji, Jyoti Gupta – Germany, Kunika Bansal – India, Mahima Tayal – Guatemala, Mansi Jain – China, Pragya Yadav – Czech, Rehana – Afghanistan, Richa Tibrewal – Czech Republic, Shivani Chaudhary – Bosnia & Herzegovina, Shiwangi – Egypt, Shreya Gupta – Ghana, Shweta Verma – Brazil, Sonakshi Gupta – Azerbaijan, Sonam Chaurasia – Iran, Vinita  designed for Armenia, and Yukti Gupta  worked on the fashion of Hungry.

All designs and projects were submitted for final assessment to AAFT School of Fashion And Design. The fashion River was supported by ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry, World Peace Development And Research Foundation and film and cultural forums of more than sixty countries of the World.

AAFT Alumna Vridhi Now Miss Universe Teen Asia


AAFT President  With Vridhi Jain Miss Teen Universe Asia


Noida: Vridhi Jain, AAFT Alumna who represented India at Miss Teen Universe pageant held in Mexico became the Miss Teen Universe Asia 2019 and was there at her Alma Matter to interact with the press.

Vridhi Jain was crowned as the Continental queen of Asia. She was the best in Asia and hence was declared as the queen of Asia. She was also awarded with the Best Hair Title. Nicaragua secured the first spot winning the Miss Teen Universe Crown.

“I am proud of AAFTian Vridhi Jain. Not only that she brought the name of the institution to the best but she made the whole country proud of her success,” said Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT.

“I am thankful to AAFT and especially to Sandeep Sir for supporting me at every stage of my training. I carried a lot confidence from India to Mexico and your love & blessings have shown miracles,” said Vridhi Jain answering questions in the press conference.

“I will spend my time in learning more as education is the base of prosperity. I will also love to be part of glamour business and Charity will be my concern,” Vridhi Jain replied to the questions of national and international press at Marwah Studios. Nikhil Anand of Glamanand was also present there.

AAFT School of Fashion And Design Marked Presence In London


Nine Designers From AAFT School of Fashion And Design


London: AAFT School of Fashion And Design stole the lime light at the fashion extravaganza organized on the third day of Bharat Conclave by Confluence- Unification of Skills, Talents and Leadership on the occasion of 150 years celebration of Mahatma Gandhi at Hotel Copthorne Tara Kensigton at London, UK.

The event was inaugurated by the first lady of Maharashtra Amruta Fadnavis wife of Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis along with beauty of Indian Cinema Karishma Kapoor, popular Indian film star Sanjay Kapoor, Designer Reena Marwah, Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and Smita Srivastava of Bharat Conclave in the presence of jam-packed hall of the hotel.

The nine designers of AAFT were representing the style and collection especially designed for the occasion under the guidance of Director Ritu Lal. The audience was astonished to see the well-prepared collection of young designers who were also part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Campaign Make In India - Khadi India and New India.

“My collection is not just looking for pretty clothes but a soul or a story in which they wear a strong Indian identity, aesthetics & a conscience & hence Gandhi,” said Dipti Tripathi. “Fashion is not simply a matter of clothing, fashion is air born upon the wind, one intuits it, so is khadi there is nothing that can beat the feel of Indian hand spun fabrics,” added Yukti Gupta.

“This colorful collection are made up of eco friendly colors with draped saree Indian traditional look,” expressed Mayank Bharti. “My collection of back-to-basics, inspired from khadi & sustainable fashion, has been brought up to present Gandhi's introduction to an Independent India,” said Pramarthi Sukhija.

“My inspiration was to showcase bright and saint India,” believed Phankhuri Agarwal. ”I had shown the British times the colors were taken from the Indian struggles,” mentioned Palak Singh “the idea was to show the sad and dull India at the time of freedom fights showing the change during that course,” considered Runita Malhotra.

“ “The collection that i have present is all about the positivity that was inspired from "The Scarab". It is a distinctive mash-up of soft pastels, warm blush tones. Playing with the tones of pink in throughout the collection growing developing India,” said Itika Jain.

“My inspiration was positivity which was shown in terms of bright colours and flowers, Which Gandhi ji had thought for the independent India, The Collection shows the happy and green India,” said Shivi Agarwal.

Special Class by AAFTian Kunal Rawal on First Day of AAFT Fashion School

Noida: “You can have anything you want in life if you dress for it. Fashion is about dressing according to what’s fashionable. Style is more about being yourself. I think there is beauty in everything. What 'normal' people perceive as ugly, I can usually see something of beauty in it,” said Kunal Rawal in his  speech to the young and new aspirants of design industry at the inauguration of new session of AAFT School of Fashion And Design.

Youthful and highly acclaimed menswear designer Kunal Rawal got his qualifications from London College of Fashion (LCF) with a specialization in merchandising. He did his cinema course from AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television. He is the youngest designer in history to make a debut at Lakme Fashion Week.

Kunal Rawal launched his label ‘Dstress’ in the year 2006, having his signature designs best described as “cultivated imperfection.” He has also designed outfits for IPL cricket teams Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore, which comprised of fashionable active wear for off-field events.

Kunal Rawal’s creations are a favorite amongst Bollywood hunks like Mohit Marwah, Arjun Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Prateik Babbar, Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Abhay Deol.

The session was followed by question answers by students and later Dr. Sandeep Marwah honored Kunal with life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT. Director Ritulal paid vote of thanks.

Milan: The Managing Director of National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperation of India Limited Dr. Sandeep Marwah visited the city of Milan in Italy to look into the fashion business.

Milan is considered a leading alpha global city, with strengths in the field of the art, commerce, design, education, entertainment, fashion, finance, healthcare, media, services, research and tourism.

“I am surprised to see the fashion flowing from every lane of Milan. It has largest number of outlets of well known designers from all over the World. The visit to Milan has enhanced my knowledge on fashion,” said Sandeep Marwah also President of Marwah Studios while expressing to the press at Hotel Armani, Milan.

Milan is also regarded as one of the fashion capitals of the world, along with New York City, Paris, and London. Milan is synonymous with the Italian prêt-à-porter industry, as many of the most famous Italian fashion brands, such as Valentino, Gucci, Versace, Prada, Armani and Dolce & Gabbana, are headquartered in the city.

Numerous international fashion labels also operate shops in Milan. Furthermore, the city hosts the Milan Fashion Week twice a year, one of the most important events in the international fashion system.

3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Emphasized on Education




3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019

Noida 19th April: The enthusiasm was as good as the first day of the fashion and design week at Marwah Studios. The 8th session of third day brought many fashion & design students and educational institution to Noida Film City where much professionals and teachers participated in the seminar.

“We are happy to announce that now we have become a university- AAFT University of Media And Arts has started giving more emphasis to fashion and design department. A research wing has been associated along with AAFT Fashion School,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the University.

“Hands-on training and industry exposure are essential for obtaining employment in fashion design. Aspiring fashion designers may gain such experience through internship programs,. These programs allow interns to apply their fashion knowledge and skills and contribute to the company's design efforts under the guidance of experienced designers and executives,” said Dr. Kusum Chopra former Chairperson of the Fashion Design Dept. of NIFT.

Vikas Chaturvedi Costume Designer, Manish Ahuja Designer, Pria Chauhan Academician, Dr. Jyoti Agarwal Professor, Simmi Bhagat Professor, Ritu Lal, and Albeena Abbas expressed their ideas as how to conduct the education and training of fashion and design subject.

The discussion covered garments, jewelry, furniture, textile, photography and display and presentation of products. Later every one also appreciated the exhibitions during the week showcasing extra ordinary involvement of students in textile designing, jewelry designing, furniture, paintings and photography exhibitions.

The dignities released the coffee table book of Shubham Sharma under the name and title – ‘Bazars of India’. Dr. Sandeep Marwah informed and read the congratulary messages receiving from all over the World on such a massive show.

The session was followed by a well-organized fashion show where many designers showcased their range from different countries associated with AAFT and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

 Swastika Gupta designed the range from Country of Lebanon; Dakshita & Bhagyashree showcased range from Venezuela. Sambit Mohanty recreated designs from Peru, Roshni Singh emphasized on Fiji fashion, Sandeep Kumar brought Bahamas to the ramp, Aayushi Raghav & Tanya Varshney covered Maldives, Avisha Adhikari & Riya Dobhal were influenced by Bulgaria, Bharat Bhushan displayed Nepal and Vishal Sharma made models to wear garments influenced by the Republic of Romania.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented and honored all the dignities with the life membership of World Peace Development And Research Foundation of Marwah Studios.

3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Brought Enthusiasm to Young Designers

Noida 18th April: During the second day of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019, the festival picked up to new level and was attended by large number of film, television, media, fashion and design fraternity.                

Don't be into trends. Don't make fashion own you, but you decide what you are, what you want to express by the way you dress and the way to live. I am thankful to our chief guest H.E. Gonchig Ganbold Ambassador of Mongolia to India for encouraging and motivating young designers by visiting to every individual stall in the furniture exhibition. We have high light 54 furniture pieces influenced by different countries of the World,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

“Never seen this kind of huge display of furniture, jewelry, textile, fashion garments and huge crowd to appreciate   so much happening at   the same time. Only Sandeep Marwah can do so. Seeing Mongolia everywhere I can make out that Indo Mongolian Film And Cultural Forum has done its job very sincerely,” said H.E. Gonchig Ganbold Ambassador of Mongolia to India.

“Coming to Marwah Studios is like coming back home. I have been associated with Global Fashion and design week from the first edition and it has grown to new level. What you wear is how you present yourself to the world, especially today, when human contacts are so quick. Fashion is instant language,” said AAFT Alumna and now Miss Universe Teen Srishti Kaur

Designer Rahul, Mrs India Queen of Substance 2015 Deepti Chhibber, Designer Vandana Dua, Dolly Bhasin, Fashion Fabric Designer Jaguruti Mehta Sanghvi and Interior Designer Kennii Oberoi also spoke on the occasion.


The event was followed by a terrific fashion show where Asmita Mandal & Jahnwi Pandey projected garments influenced by the country of Mongolia, Purnima Gautam & Priyanka from Montenegro, Ashi Gupta from Uzbekistan, Padma Singh from Bahamas, Ananya Mittal from Montenegro, Ankita Singh from Lesotho, Mansi Sharma from Malaysia, Sheffali Singh from Turkmenistan, Anushka Kashera  from Poland and Rahul Patel presented his range from Gambia.

The dignitaries released coffee Table Book- Bazars of India designed by Jaydeep Gupta. Later Sandeep Marwah presented certificated of participation and festival memento to all the distinguished guests.

Love Peace And Unity Promoted Through 3rd Global Fashion Week

Noida: ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry has been propagating Love Peace And Unity Through Art And Culture. Rather it is the byline of every event, which is designed by ICMEI from last so many years.

“This time on the first day of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019 it was decided to promote this beautiful line through a cyclothan- A cycle ride from Noida Film City to India Gate and return by an AAFTian achiever Himanshu Kumar who has already created numerous records,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios.

Thousands of spectators lined up to encourage this boy who was few years back operated and has only one leg. The cyclothan was flagged off by H.E. Mr. Michael Aaron N. N. Oquaye High Commissioner of Ghana to India, Ashraf  Shikhaliyev Ambassador of Azerbaijan to India and Dr. Abdelrazeg Abu Jazer Counsellor and Media Advisor to Embassy of Palestine in India and Dr. Dhusyant spiritual leader in a well organized event with very enthusiastic audience during 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019.

Himanshu carried the message to New Delhi the capital of Republic of India on behalf of the Marwah Studios and its all-social organizations. People of this country and other countries must realize that love, peace and unity can only be brought by art and culture,” said H.E. Michael A. A. Oquaye Ambassador of Ghana.

“International events are designed to bring people of different countries together. These are the best ways to come close to each other and know each others culture,” added H.E. Ashraf Shikaliyev Ambassador of Azerbaijan.

“I am a student of AAFT and we have learned a lot when it coms to humanity, nationalism and compassion. My teacher Sandeep Marwah is a real International leader. I am his disciple. I am full of enthusiasm when it comes to unity of the nation,” said Himanshu Kumar showing his artificial leg to the press.

Himanshu took a round trip to Noida via India gate and covered 33 KM to propagate the love Peace And Unity. Later Sandeep Marwah honored him with participation certificate and memento.

Noida: The second session on the first day of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019 saw new range of garments influenced by some more countries of the World.

AAFT School of Fashion And Design in association with ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry want to reach largest number of    exporters and garment dealers in different countries so that they can appreciate the hard work of young and new designers. I am thankful to Embassies and diplomats to add on a lot to the show, ”initiated Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and Asian Education Group.

AAFT and ICMEI together again created a wonderful record by bringing 200 designers under one roof including 750 garments, 57 furniture, jewelry and    textile too,” said renowned filmmaker from Hollywood Mike Berry inaugurating the session.

 “Every time I am attending Global and Fashion Week I found it has grown much bigger in its strength and quality,” said Jewelry Designer Prasoon Dewan appreciating the grandeur of the show. Ishan Kailani CEO Digital Marketing, designer Rashmi Chabra and Entrepreneur Garvita were also part of the session.

 Shalini Kirti researched and worked to prepare range of garments from Slovenia, Lokendra Kumar Maurya from Maldives, Shivani Solanki from Wales, Anushka Upadhyay & Nishi Pal from Vietnam, Itika Jain from Egypt, Nishant Sharma & Trisha Singh from Hungary, Riya Jhinkwan from Iran, Vidit Jain from Fiji, Manisha Rawat for Malaysia and Pragya Prajapati & Subhashree Debata followed the trends from Bahamas.

After releasing news letter of the day, a coffee table book 'Bazars of India', prepared by Aastha Mittal was released by the dignities. Prof Ritulal proposed vote of thanks and Albeena Abbas conducted the program.

The international flags and their colors, stalls, decorated entrances are enough to recognize the strength of this fashion carnival designed by International Film And Television club in association with AAFT School of Fashion And Design supported by ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry. The third festival has grown bigger with 750 dresses, 200 designers, 85 models, 8 exhibitions, 9 seminars, 49 countries, 85 rounds in 9 fashion shows,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group.

“What a grand show, what a display, what a presentation. Never seen such an interesting gala fashion show. These kind of cultural events bring unity into the people of many countries,” said H.E. Michael A.A. Oquaye High Commissioner of Ghana to India at the inauguration of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019.

“I am amazed to note that a unique display of dresses by Azerbaijan are the part and parcel of this fashion week. It has raised the level of our friendship,” added H.E. Ashraf Shikhaliyev Ambassador of Azerbaijan to India while lighting the ceremonial lamp.

“I am honored to the part of this spectacular fashion and design week. A lot has been done to project so many countries at the same time,” said Dr. Abdelrazeg Abu Jazer Counsellor Embassy of State of Palestine.

Renowned designers like Parantap Shekhar, Vikas Kumar, Simran Kaur Malhotra shared their vast experience of the industry to who’s who of fashion and design industry present there along with the design students from all over India and abroad.

Dignities released the design directory of passing out students of degree and diploma students of AAFT Fashion and Design School. A coffee table book prepared by Ruchica Bhardwaj was also released.

The event was followed by a grand fashion show of dresses inspired by the international committees at School. Designers like Pooja Rani showcased the design range of garments from Poland, Priya Sharma of Serbia, Dipti Tripathi of Azerbaijan, Runita Malhotra from Cyprus, Shivi Agarwal of Slovenia, Divya Gautam of Senegal, Jyoti Ranjan & Keertika Pant of Lebanon, Maithli Oberoi & Simran Suri of Lesotho, Nikhil Kumar from Hungary and Rashika Mushra & Surbhi Khandelwal range of clothes were influenced by Ghana. The festival was arranged under the leadership of Ritu Lal festival director.

Earlier an exhibition of group paintings titled “Collection” was inaugurated by the guest of the day. The first day also saw the flag off ceremony of cycle ride    by Himanshu Kumar a record holder of Cyclothon propagating Love Peace And Unity Through Art And Culture.

3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019


New Delhi: It was decided to high light and promote social issues during three days of Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019 to be held from 17th to 19th April at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.

Day one will bring in awareness on love, peace and unity through art and culture where 50 countries are participating from all over the World.” It is our motto and we have been propagating this line from last 27 years since the inception of AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television. We started with Asia and then bring whole World to our canvas,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

Day one a cycle ride from Noida Film City to India Gate has been planned as “Peace Yatra” by Himanshu Kumar Alumnus of AAFT to bring awareness on the subject- ‘Love Peace And Unity Through Art And Culture’. Himanshu Kumar is a popular cyclist with few wonderful records to his account.

Day two a group of Women who are cancer survivor will be walking on the ramp and will be talking about Cancer Awareness. A cancer society is associated with this project under the leadership of Smita Das.

Day three will be talking about Armed Forces Support Mission where there will be a start of longest signature campaign to support our forces. J.P.Singh will initiate the project.

Global festivals and cultural weeks are the best way to create awareness about the social issues and subject of national need. It gives you immense satisfaction when programs serve these purposes,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of  3rd GFDWN 2019.

Noida: The most talked about event of the month -- 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week scheduled for 17th to 19th April at Noida Film City saw the curtain raiser function at Marwah Studios.

Renowned fashion designer Robert Burton from United Kingdom released the new poster of GFDWN 2019 to declare open the activities of fashion and design week.

“I am more than happy and lucky enough to give a kick start to one of the biggest fashion and design week of its kind. Never ever heard of this style of fashion and design week which is actually designed by a University and the fashion and design fraternity together at that scale,” said Robert Burton talking to the young designers.

“ 40 Countries, 200 designers, 700 dresses, 63 rounds in 9 fashion shows, 9 Workshops, 6 Seminars, 8 exhibitions, 80 models are going to participate in this    Fashion and design week, probably the biggest ever been planned in India. We are expecting it to attract people from all over India and abroad,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of fashion week.

Ritulal Festival Director invited the guests to the institute to have first hand information of the grand preparations going on where 600 fashion students are involved.

Global Fashion And Design Week From 17th to 19th April
New Delhi: The 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week created by International Film And Television Club of Marwah Studios has grown much bigger in size as well in its reach in all these years.

Some of the most prestigious and important organizations are now supporting the festival of fashion and design including International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry, International Film And Television Research Centre, International Public Broadcasting Forum, International Children’s Film Forum, International Women’s Film Forum, International Journalism Centre and AAFT University of Media And Arts.

More than five Hundred thousand      creative people who all are connected to films, television, media, fashion, design, art and culture have been invited to  know about the week. It will remain open from 17th April to 19th April.

“We are fully ready to showcase 700 creative pieces of art touching 40 countries by 200 different designers from all over India. An exhibition of    furniture, jewelry, paintings, textiles etc. will be the great attraction,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the festival.
