AAFT School of Hospitality & Tourism Presents Flavours of Malaysia at 18th Global Film Festival Noida 2025

Noida, India: The rich and aromatic cuisines of Malaysia were elegantly showcased by the AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism during the 18th Global Film Festival Noida 2025 at the prestigious Marwah Film City, Noida. The vibrant culinary presentation was ceremoniously inaugurated by Ms. Sharifah Ezneeda Wafa, Deputy Head of the Mission, High Commission of Malaysia, adding a strong cultural dimension to the international festival.

The Malaysian food presentation reflected the country’s diverse culinary heritage, blending traditional flavors with artistic presentation. Addressing the gathering, Ms. Sharifah Ezneeda Wafa appreciated AAFT for beautifully presenting Malaysian cuisine on a global platform and stated that such initiatives promote deeper cultural understanding and people-to-people ties between India and Malaysia. She applauded the students for their professionalism and authenticity in representing Malaysia’s rich food culture.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the Global Film Festival Noida, emphasized that cuisine is an integral part of cultural diplomacy. He stated that the presentation of Malaysian cuisine under the banner of the Indo–Malaysia Film and Cultural Forum reflects the growing cultural collaboration between the two nations. He further highlighted AAFT’s commitment to nurturing global exposure among students by integrating cinema, culture, and culinary arts on one international platform.

The presentation of Cuisines from Malaysia emerged as a vibrant highlight of the 18th Global Film Festival Noida 2025, reinforcing the festival’s vision of celebrating global diversity, friendship, and cultural harmony at Marwah Film City. The event was supported by AAFT , ICMEI and IFTC.

Global Strategic And Leadership Awards by ICMEI at Malaysia


Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia): After successful functions and awards at Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry conducted its third edition of Global Strategic and Leadership Awards  Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia to develop and promote relation between two countries.

The awards were presented to two teams of India and Malaysia by the president of the Chamber Dr. Sandeep Marwah and recently nominated by Government of India as the Chief Scout For India

Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia): After the successful launching of Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum in New Delhi India a new chapter of IMFCF was initiated by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

“We are thankful to H.E. Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India for guiding us and making it possible to launch today the new chapter of Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum here in Kuala Lumpur. I am also thankful to Indian High Commission in Kuala Lumpur for supporting us,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

“ICMEI was created six years back to support the vision of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi to have best of the relations possible with each and every country of the World. So far we have touched 54 countries,” added Dr. Marwah.

H.E. Prof. Dr. Zahid Haque Senior Advisor Asia Pacific Region of World Sports Alliance of United Nation has been nominated as the Country Head of IMFCF. Dr. Marwah has declared a list of forthcoming programs.

Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) is a Malaysian public broadcaster. It has 36 radio and 4 television stations in Malaysia, based in Kuala Lumpur. RTM is the first broadcaster in Malaysia.

“We congratulate you on the launching of Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum in Malaysia and being honored as Asias’ Film Television & Media Legend Award by Top Ten of Asia Award. We acknowledge your another award as Entertainment And Movie Icon by Star Planet,” added Tan Lee Cheng.

“We are happy to receive you, the presence of RTM has added value to the launching of IMFCF. Very soon we will convert our meeting to a productive and action oriented program,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chair of IMFCF and President Marwah Studios.

Print, Radio, Television, Cinema, Short Films, Mobile Films, Film Education & Training, Film Tourism, Animation, Hospitality, Film Events, Festivals, probably more than 5000 events  he has been associated with,” said H.E. Dr. Zahid Haque Senior Advisor Asia Pacific Region of United Nations’s World Sport Alliance.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah has already been titled many times for his untiring contribution to media and entertainment Industry. The credit of   founding the first ever dedicated Chamber of Commerce ICMEI also goes to him. Single handed he has tied up with Entertainment industries of more than 50 countries of the World,” added Dr. Haque.

The most prominent & respected Entertainment And Movie Icon Award was handed over by Dato’ Alan Foo Managing Director of Star Planet SDN BHD to Dr. Sandeep Marwah before the august audience consisting of  Film, TV, Media, Art and Culture fraternity.

“Six World records in media- founder of Noida Film City the fastest growing film city in Asia, Marwah Studios- The First Professional film studios of North India, Chancellor of AAFT- the first film university, producer of largest number of short films, father of Mobile Cinema, chair to almost hundred film, TV and media organizations Dr. Sandeep Marwah is a living legend,” citation read by H.E. ICMEI Delegation to Malaysia Blessed by High Commissioner

New Delhi: A powerful media delegation under the leadership of Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and Marwah Studios, Noida Film City met H.E. Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India to brief the activities.

It was not long ago Dr. Sandeep Marwah was nominated as the Chair of Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum and the Forum has done well in last few months. ”We are excited to meet our counter parts in Malaysia and hoping to meet and develop a strong relation between two countries through media,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah explain the details of trip to High Commissioner.

“I welcome you all to my country and wish you a very successful visit. I am sure under the leadership of Sandeep Marwah ICMEI will produce very strong results during this meet. I would love to see you with flying colors,” blessed H.E. Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India.

ICMEI Secretary General Ashok Tyagi will make a documentary on the visit of delegation to Malaysia. Ten members of different media groups including Vipin Gaur General Secretary of New Paper Association of India, Television Heads, Senior Journalists and PR Events Companies will accompany Dr. Sandeep Marwah. The visit will cover by large number of national and international media.

National Day of Malaysia Celebrated at ICMEI

National Day of Malaysia Celebrated at Marwah Studios


Noida: The management of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry under the leadership of its President Sandeep Marwah celebrated National Day of Malaysia at Noida Film City.

“I on behalf of ICMEI and media and entertainment industry of India extend our heartiest congratulation to he people of Malaysia on their National Day which falls on 31st of August,” said Sandeep Marwah also President of Marwah Studios.

Both countries are full members of the Commonwealth of Nations, Asian Union and G15. India and Malaysia are also connected by various cultural and historical ties that date back to antiquity.

The two countries are on excellently friendly terms with each other seeing as Malaysia is home to a strong concentration of Indian immigrants. Mahathir Mohamad, the fourth and longest serving Prime Minister of Malaysia has Indian ancestry.

On trade front their bilateral trade volume stands at $10.5 billion and is poised to reach $25 billion by 2020. Recently formed Indo Malaysia Film And Cultural Forum supported the event.

Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and Asian Education Group was nominated as the Chairperson of newly formed Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum by H.E. Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid The High Commissioner of Malaysia to India in a grand function during the first day of 2nd Global Fashion And Deign Week Noida 2018 at Noida Film City.

“Sandeep Marwah is an international personality and needs no introduction, he can be the Chairperson of the Forum. His experience, expertise and enthusiasm will add to our purpose,” said High Commissioner of Malaysia H.E Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid.

“ I will take this responsibility whole heartedly and will prove soon the value of this organization to both the governments of India and Malaysia,” said Sandeep Marwah.

Sandeep Marwah is the recipient of more than 500 awards from all over the World. He has been Ambassador of Wales and cultural Ambassador of Many Countries. His title Global Cultural Minister really suits him informed Harshvardhan former Chief Engineer, Doordarshan, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.

Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid Presented With Patronship of IMFCF

Noida: The High Commission of Malaysia to India and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry, to promote relations through art and culture, jointly launched an organization under the name and banner of IMFCF- Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum on the first day of 2nd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2018 at Noida Film City.

Sandeep Marwah presented the first Patronship of the association to H.E. Dato’ Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India in a grand function at Marwah Studios in the presence of professionals from the films, television, media and fashion fraternity.

Dato’ Hidayat Abdul Hamid joined the Malaysian Public Service in 1992. He was the Ambassador of Malaysia to Kazakhstan since 2014 prior to his appointment as High Commissioner of Malaysia to India.

 He was previously the Deputy Director at the South East Asia Regional Centre for Counter-Terrorism (SEARCCT) from 2011 to 2014, Consul General of Malaysia in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from 2007 to 2011 and Counsellor at the High Commission of Malaysia in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei from 2005 to 2007.

 Dato’ Hidayat Abdul Hamid had also served as First Secretary at the Embassy of Malaysia in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 1999 to 2003 and as Second Secretary at the High Commission of Malaysia in Colombo, Sri Lanka from 1996 to 1999.

Noida: History has been written when first ever Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum launched during the 2nd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2018 at Film City Noida organized by AAFT.

The High Commissioner of Malaysia to India H.E. Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid announced the formation of Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum as a gift to 2nd Global Fashion And Design Week as a part and parcel of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

“India and Malaysia enjoy a very strong bonding, we have wonderful diplomatic relations. To strengthen our relations we will work more through cultural diplomacy. Formation of Indo Malaysian Cultural Forum is a step towards the same,” said H.E Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia while launching the forum.

“Sandeep Marwah is an international personality and needs no introduction, he can be the Chairperson of the Forum. His experience, expertize and enthusiasm will add to our purpose,” added High Commissioner of Malaysia H.E Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid.

“I am pleased to accept the Chairmanship of IMFCF-Indo Malaysian Film And Cultural Forum. I am thankful to the High Commissioner for trusting me and believing in   our way of working. We assure you and your Government that we will bring our relations to new height through this association,” said Sandeep Marwah receiving the honor from the highest officer of Government of Malaysia to India.

 Ambassador of Gambia H.E Jainaba Jagne, renowned beauty queen Padma Shri Shahnaz Husain, former, Miss Universe Teen & AAFT Alumna Srishti Kaur , Mrs India Finalist 2015 Deepti Chibbe, Interior Designer Shailender Sharma and Ritu Lal Director AAFT School of Fashion and Design were witness to this historical event in a jam packed hall of Marwah Studios.

Later Sandeep Marwah honored H.E Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia with the Patron Ship of IMFCF. Marwah announced immediately a scholarship of short-term course of AAFT for the deserving student from Malaysia.

Sandeep Marwah, six world record holder in media, has been earlier honored with some of the best titles from all over the World as Global Green Ambassador, World Cultural Minister, Global Cultural Minister, Man of Asia, Personality of the Decade, International Media Guru, Global Cultural Ambassador. His reach is now to 145 countries of the World. Recently he has been awarded Doctorate from Serbia and USA. He has been also honored in House of Common in British Parliament as Peace Ambassador and Champion of Wales in Cardiff.

India and Malaysia both countries are full members of the Commonwealth of Nations, Asian Union and G15.
