Kolkata: The Chief Scout For India Dr. Sandeep Marwah
recently visited Kolkata to see for himself as how the scout and Guide
Organization is working at the eastern part of India.
“It is nice to know that schools here in Kolkata do have
scouts and Guides program but still we need to uplift the whole organization. I
would like that every school in India be a private or government funded must
have a setup of Scouts and Guides,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah while talking to
the press at Hotel Novatel in Kolkata attending function of The George
Washington University of Peace.
“It is necessary to built a sense of patriotism in the
hearts and minds of young generation. It is essential that people should
respect armed forces. The uniform reminds them all the time. Our armed forces deserves to be honored and
appreciated. The freedom and liberty we enjoy is much because of the brave men
and women of the military who dedicate their lives to protecting the nation.,”
added Dr. Marwah Chief Scout For India.
