New Delhi: The National Day
of Embassy of Kuwait was celebrated with great pomp and show at Hotel Leela New
Delhi. The Ambassadors, High Commissioners, Consul Generals, Business Men and
people from the creative fields, attended the event.
Today
we are celebrating 59th National Day in recognition of the day when Sheikh
Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah became Emir of the State of Kuwait in 1950. said
H.E. Jassem Al-Najem Ambassador of Kuwait to India.
T. S. Tirumurti, an author
and Indian diplomat who belongs to the Indian Foreign Service is currently the
Secretary (Economic Relations) in the Ministry of External Affairs, Government
of India was the Chief Guest.
