said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University of Media And Arts at the International Conference-cum-Awards on “Beauty
& Wellness – India Opportunities” on 28th February 2020 at Hotel
Le-Meridien, New Delhi organized by ASSOCHAM.
“The
beauty, wellness & personal care market is thriving and one of the fastest
growing consumer markets, driven in particular by the Cosmetics and Skin Care
segments. The main reason for this strong growth is the generational shift with
young consumers entering the market,” added Marwah.
India’s
wellness and beauty industry is progressing towards a brighter future with market
potential to grow to Rs. 800 billion and is expected to create 7 million jobs.
Sandeep
Marwah presented awards to some of the prominent companies and individuals who
all have contributed a lot to this trade. Later Dr. Marwah was also honored for
his twenty-nine years in glamour business in India.
