Literary Carnival Launched at AAFT School of Fashion & Design |
Noida: “Three important
things you have to remember in life to be a better literary person and they
are-to read well, to write well and to
speak well. What you write becomes history and then it leads to literature,”
said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University while lighting the
ceremonial lamp at the inauguration of literary carnival at the AAFT School of
Fashion And Design.
“I am more than happy when
fashion students showed their interest in literary festival. Together we can
create fashion books, coffee table books, and can add to the gamut of
literature,” added Dr. Marwah.
A poster to remember
renowned writer and poet Kaifi Azmi was released. Also a poster to mark respect
to the well-known designer Wendell Rodricks was launched from the main event.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah
appreciated the work of Fashion and design school and honored all those
students who had presented their collections abroad or impressed foreign
designers with their work of art.
Two students who have
finished their internship from Nigeria, two students who have spent three
months with Stefano Ricci in Florence in Italy, Nine students who were part
of London Fashion Show and two students who displayed their product
in Greece fashion show were highlighted by Dr. Sandeep Marwah.
Ritu Lal Director School of
Fashion And Design. and Ashish Garg Director AAFT School of Animation were also
present there. Students also planned a newsletter for the occasion. The
activities continued for the whole day.
