Africa Day Celebrated by ICHR  on 25th May on Line


New Delhi: "We are grass root workers and our job is to execute and support the vision of our Prime Minister to have best of the relations with all the countries of Africa,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and Patron to Indian Council For Human Relations on the occasion of celebration of Africa Day which falls on 25th May.

“We have announced 54 scholarships for the deserving students from all the countries of Africa to come and study at AAFT University of Media And Arts.
We have also sectioned and provided space and time on our Radio Station- Radio Noida 107.4Fm and MSTV to highlight all these countries and our relations,” added Dr. Marwah Chairing large number of Indo African Associations.

Needless to say Sandeep Marwah has already been to Nigeria, Egypt and Senegal on a state visit and been appointed as consultant for starting a film school in these countries. Dr. Marwah is now the International Patron to Actors Guild Nigeria, Chair to Indo African Students ‘s Association in India and has conducted large number of programs for the country like Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Nigeria, Sudan, South Africa, Senegal, Rwanda, Lesotho, Ghana, Gambia, Gabon, Comoros and others as Chair for their cultural forums.

Marwah Studios has attracted delegates from almost 45 out of 54 Nations of Africa though different festivals and international summits. International Film And Television Research Centre of Marwah Studios could also involve all the 54 African countries in Cinema, Fashion and journalism Research.


The Chief guest of the occasion was MP and Former Union Minister for Tourism Government of India k Alphonse spoke about our strong and healthy relations with African countries., H.E. Maj. Gen. Chris S. Eze High Commissioner of Nigeria, H.E. Dr. G.M. Chipare Ambassador of Zimbabwe and H.E. Mrs Jdith K.K. Kan’goma Kapijimpanga Ambassador of Zambia also expressed on the subject of Africa Day. They all  remembered and paid their gratitude to Mahatma Gandhi.
 
Mahaveer Singavi Joint Secretary MEA, Consul General of Comoros K.L.Ganju, H.E. Josphine Patricia – Ehya Charge d’ Affairs of Gabon, Hervee D. Coulibally Minister council Burkina Faso, S.S. Malhotra Honorary Consul of Lesotho, Abdul Hussain IFS Council General of Uganda in Bangladesh, Jorge E. Castro IRS, Jayaprakash, K.V. Rajan former Ambassador to Nepal, Wg cdr Praful Bakshi, Rajat Kapoor founder Indian diaspora club and Subhash Goyal of Stic Travels were present there.
 
The event was Chaired by Aruna Oswal, Initiate by k L Malhotra, coordinated and conducted by Gaurav Gupta who also read the message of Ambassador of Eritrea the Dean of African diplomats in India.
