Delhi: The Hindi Journalism Day (Hindi Patrakarita Diwas ) is celebrated every
year on May 30 in India to mark the beginning to journalism in Hindi language.
This time Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Journalism Centre Chair

“On
this date, in 1826, the first Hindi-language newspaper of India “Udant Martand”
was published from Calcutta by Pt. Jugal Kishore Shukla. Though, due to
financial problems, the newspaper couldn’t publish for long. In 2016, the Hindi
Journalism has completed its 190 years in India,” informed U.K. Manna senior
journalist Secretary of the organization.
“All
praise goes to all those journalists who all are putting their best from print,
radio and television departments, in this dangerous time of Corona Virus and
informing the country with best of the information possible. They deserve a lot
of appreciation and we all must extend our best wishes for their good health,”
said Dr. Sandeep Marwah
The
country is going though the pain and agony because of Covid 19,
I am sure a new guide to humanity will soon transpired
out of this distress situation the way Geeta was generated after Mahabharat,”
added Dr. Marwah also Chancellor of AAFT University of Media An Arts.
The
political, social and economical condition of the country is not upto the mark.
The subsidies granted by Government does not include any help and support to
media persons and small newspapers. Our sufferings are larger than any other
medium and industry,” expressed senior journalist Arvind Kumar Singh from Rajya
Sabha Television.
“We
have to be confident of our caliber. Our experience will support us and I am
sure every thing will revive back after a year or so. We have to bear the pain
for one more year,” said Onkeshwar Pandey a well-known Senior Journalist from
New Delhi.
Dr.
Sunil Mittal renowned psychologist very explained the current situation and its
effect on mind and body. He requested all the journalist to have patience and
take care health and try to keep themselves busy with creative and constructive
work.
Aditi
Tondon and many others also expressed their views during the session. RJS
announced Achievement Award for the main speakers of the Webinar. The journalists
from all over India attended the event.
