| ICMEI Congratulates Cyprus on Their Independence Day |
Noida, India: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), led by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, extends warm congratulations to H.E. Evagoras, the High Commissioner of Cyprus, and to the people of Cyprus on the occasion of their Independence Day, celebrated on October 1st.
The Indo-Cyprus Film and Cultural Forum, based in New Delhi, has been actively working to deepen cultural connections between India and Cyprus. With shared historical ties and a mutual commitment to promoting art and culture, both countries have strengthened their relations over the years.
Cyprus has been an enthusiastic partner in various ICMEI initiatives, including the Global Film Festival, Global Festival of Journalism, Global Literary Festival, and Global Fashion Week, as well as numerous exhibitions, talks, and other cultural events throughout the year.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah’s visits to Cyprus as a state guest, along with ICMEI delegations, have brought the two nations closer, paving the way for enriched collaboration and lasting friendship between India and Cyprus.
