Noida, India – The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) celebrated the Independence Day of Equatorial Guinea on October 12 at its global headquarters, Marwah Studios in Film City, Noida. The event was marked by the presence of distinguished guests and members of ICMEI, who gathered to honor the friendship between India and Equatorial Guinea.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, extended his heartfelt greetings to H.E. Manuel Mbela Bama Ndong, the Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea, and the people of the nation. “I extend my heartfelt greetings to H.E. Manuel Mbela Bama Ndong and the people of Equatorial Guinea on their Independence Day,” expressed Dr. Marwah. “We have very cordial relations with the country, and I wish to see our relationship grow to new heights.”
In his address, Dr. Marwah emphasized the importance of cultural exchange as a bridge between nations. He proposed the establishment of the Indo-Equatorial Film and Cultural Forum, envisioning it as a platform to foster closer ties between the people of both countries through art and culture. “It is time to start the Indo-Equatorial Film and Cultural Forum so that we can develop and promote relationships between our people through art and culture,” he added.
