Mumbai: In a momentous development for India’s media and entertainment industry, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, an internationally acclaimed media personality and the visionary founder of Noida Film City, has been appointed as the Vice Chair of the Media and Entertainment Skills Council (MESC). This prestigious nomination, under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development, Government of India, was announced at the annual general meeting held at the esteemed Taj Lands End Hotel in Mumbai.
Dr. Marwah’s appointment brings a wealth of experience and a unique vision to MESC. A nine-time world record holder and the recipient of over a thousand awards, Dr. Marwah’s contributions to media, arts, and education have been celebrated across the globe. Recently, he received accolades from the New York State Assembly and California State Assembly in the United States, as well as the Doctors Association in Dubai. He was also honored in Ireland with the title of Global Media Scientist, reinforcing his position as an international force in the media landscape.
Dr. Marwah’s storied career includes founding Marwah Studios and serving as the Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts, where he has mentored over 30,000 media professionals from 145 countries. His impact extends far beyond the borders of India, with a legacy of shaping the next generation of media leaders and artists around the world.
