| Indo Panama Business Summit by ICMEI at Marwah Studios Highlights Expanding India–Latin America Partnerships |
Noida, India: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) hosted the Indo Panama Business Summit at Marwah Studios, bringing together ambassadors and business leaders to strengthen commercial and cultural ties between India and Latin America. The conference focused on expanding bilateral opportunities, trade collaboration, and cultural diplomacy.
The summit was initiated by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Chair of the Indo Panama Film and Cultural Forum, who welcomed all dignitaries and emphasized the growing relevance of Latin America in India’s global outreach. “ICMEI is committed to creating platforms that build meaningful international partnerships. The Indo Panama Film and Cultural Forum has opened new doors for cooperation in trade, culture, and entrepreneurship,” he said.
H.E. Alonso Correa Miguel, Ambassador of Panama to India, served as the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker. He expressed deep gratitude to ICMEI for organizing the summit and spoke comprehensively about the strong bilateral relations between India and Panama, highlighting opportunities in logistics, maritime services, trade flows, finance, and cultural exchange.
H.E. Nestor Gabriel Baltodano Vargas, Ambassador of Costa Rica, provided insights into the economic and cultural landscape of his country and the broader Latin American region. He emphasized the strong potential for India–Latin America collaboration in technology, tourism, education, and sustainable development.
H.E. Dharamkumar Seeraj, High Commissioner of Guyana, shared perspectives on expanding international relations and the emerging business opportunities in Latin America for Indian entrepreneurs. He stressed the importance of continuous engagement for long-term partnerships.
Ms. Arlette Gabriella Bustamante Garcia, Charge d’Affaires, Embassy of Bolivia, discussed internal and external trade prospects, highlighting Bolivia’s evolving economic sectors and welcoming Indian participation in mining, agriculture, culture, and creative industries.
Ms. Fauzia Bakshi, international business expert, unveiled the poster of a new business venture launched in Panama, symbolizing fresh avenues of global entrepreneurship. She motivated the business community to explore Panama as a strategic international hub and encouraged greater industry involvement.
The Indo Panama Business Summit reaffirmed ICMEI’s mission to promote economic diplomacy, cultural interaction, and business expansion between India and Latin America. The conference successfully created a platform for meaningful dialogue, mutual understanding, and future collaboration.
