| Dr. Sandeep Marwah Invited by Thai Film and Television Fraternity to Strengthen Cultural and Creative Ties |
Bangkok, Thailand: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and a leading advocate of cultural diplomacy, was invited by the film and television fraternity of Thailand to explore and promote stronger relations between India and Thailand through art, culture, cinema, and media.
While interacting with the press at Hotel Grande Centre Point Ratchadamri, Bangkok, Dr. Marwah stated that his meetings with professionals from various departments of the Thai film and television industry were highly successful and encouraging. “The Thai industry has shown keen interest in welcoming Indian filmmakers to shoot in Thailand. There is a strong desire to promote Thailand as an attractive global film destination,” he said.
Dr. Marwah further emphasized that, as a member of the Film Federation of India, he would take up the matter at the appropriate forums. Through the Indo–Thailand Film and Cultural Forum, structured efforts will be initiated to promote Thailand as a preferred destination for Indian film and television productions.
In addition, Dr. Marwah expressed his commitment to promoting India as a creative destination for Thai music videos and Thai drama productions, thereby creating a mutually beneficial platform for collaboration between creative professionals of both nations.
The visit and interactions mark a significant step towards deepening Indo–Thailand relations through cinematic cooperation, cultural exchange, and people-to-people engagement, reinforcing the shared vision of both countries in the creative industries.
