| ICMEI Extends Warm Greetings to Slovenia on Independence and Unity Day |
Noida, India | 26 December : Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), on behalf of the global Media and Entertainment Industry and the Art and Culture fraternity, extended his heartiest congratulations to His Excellency Mr. Tomaž Mencin, Ambassador of Slovenia, and to the people of Slovenia on the auspicious occasion of Independence and Unity Day, celebrated on 26th December.
While conveying his best wishes, Dr. Sandeep Marwah emphasized the strong and enduring cultural relationship between India and Slovenia. He stated that Slovenia has been a valued and consistent partner of ICMEI, actively associated with almost every major international initiative and global event organized by the chamber, including film festivals, cultural exchanges, and artistic collaborations.
“Slovenia has always stood shoulder to shoulder with ICMEI in promoting cultural diplomacy and people-to-people connections through art, cinema, and creative dialogue. Our partnership reflects shared values of unity, creativity, and mutual respect,” said Dr. Marwah.
Dr. Marwah further expressed pride in being honoured by the Government of Slovenia for his dedicated services in strengthening bilateral cultural ties through the Indo–Slovenia Film and Cultural Forum. He acknowledged the support and encouragement received from the Slovenian leadership and diplomatic mission in fostering meaningful international cooperation.
On this national day, ICMEI reaffirmed its commitment to deepening cultural engagement with Slovenia and wished the nation continued peace, prosperity, and global harmony.
