| Ambassador of Palestine Visits AAFT to Explore Creative Education and Strengthen Cultural Cooperation |
Noida: H.E. Mr. Abdullah M.A. Abushawesh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Palestine to India, paid a distinguished visit to AAFT, Marwah Studios, Film City Noida, to gain firsthand knowledge of the institution’s unique model of creative education and its contributions to the global media and entertainment industry.
The Ambassador was warmly welcomed by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University, President of Marwah Studios, and Chair of the Indo Palestine Film and Cultural Forum. During the visit, H.E. Abdullah toured the state-of-the-art facilities, including film, television, animation, journalism, fashion, performing arts, and other creative departments, while interacting with faculty members and students.
Speaking on the occasion, H.E. Mr. Abdullah M.A. Abushawesh said, “I am deeply impressed by the world-class infrastructure and the comprehensive approach to creative education at AAFT. Institutions like AAFT play an important role in nurturing young talent and promoting cultural understanding through media, cinema, and the arts. I look forward to greater cooperation between Palestine and India in the fields of education, film, and culture.”
Welcoming the Ambassador, Dr. Sandeep Marwah said, “It is a privilege to host His Excellency at AAFT. Education, art, and culture are among the strongest bridges connecting nations and people. Through the Indo Palestine Film and Cultural Forum, we are committed to enhancing mutual understanding and fostering collaborations in cinema, media, education, cultural exchange, and the creative industries between India and Palestine.”
Dr. Marwah also highlighted AAFT’s four decades of excellence in media and arts education, with students from more than 145 countries, and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to promoting international partnerships through academic exchanges, joint film projects, cultural festivals, workshops, and research initiatives.
The visit concluded with productive discussions on future collaborations between Indian and Palestinian institutions, focusing on student and faculty exchange programmes, film festivals, cultural events, and initiatives that will further strengthen the long-standing friendship between the two nations through the Indo Palestine Film and Cultural Forum.
