ICMEI and South Asian Women Development Forum Nepal Join Hands for Women Empowerment and Cultural Cooperation

Noida: Pramila Acharya Rijal, Founder and President of the South Asian Women Development Forum (SAWDF), Nepal, paid a visit to Marwah Studios, Noida Film City, and held discussions with Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), on strengthening cooperation between the two organizations.

During the meeting, both organizations agreed to work together in the areas of women empowerment, cultural exchange, social development, and international cooperation. The discussions focused on creating meaningful programs, seminars, workshops, cultural events, and awareness campaigns that would benefit women and society at large.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts, said, “Women play a vital role in the progress of society, and their empowerment is essential for sustainable development. ICMEI is committed to supporting initiatives that promote education, skill development, leadership, and cultural cooperation among women. We are pleased to join hands with the South Asian Women Development Forum and look forward to creating impactful programs together.”

Pramila Acharya Rijal, Founder and President of SAWDF Nepal, expressed her appreciation for the work being carried out by ICMEI and Marwah Studios in the fields of media, culture, education, and international relations.

Together we can create stronger networks across South Asia and contribute to the welfare and advancement of women in the region,” said Pramila Acharya Rijal.

The meeting concluded on a positive note with a mutual commitment to develop long-term collaborative projects that will strengthen cultural ties between India and Nepal while promoting the cause of women empowerment and social development.

The association marks another significant step in ICMEI’s ongoing efforts to build international partnerships for peace, progress, and people-to-people cooperation through art, culture, media, and education.
