| Dr. Sandeep Marwah Extends Greetings to Portugal on National Day; Announces Initiative for Indo-Portugal Film and Cultural Forum |
Noida, India: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), extended his warm congratulations and best wishes to H.E. João Ribeiro de Almeida, Ambassador of Portugal to India, and the people of Portugal on the auspicious occasion of the National Day of Portugal, celebrated annually on 10th June.
On behalf of ICMEI and the entire media and cultural fraternity associated with the organization, Dr. Marwah conveyed his admiration for the strong and cordial relations shared by India and Portugal, emphasizing the importance of further strengthening people-to-people connections through cultural diplomacy.

Dr. Marwah also announced that ICMEI is keen to establish the Indo-Portugal Film and Cultural Forum under its growing network of international cultural forums. The proposed forum aims to promote bilateral relations through films, media, art, culture, education, tourism, and creative collaborations between the two nations.
“The Indo-Portugal Film and Cultural Forum will serve as a vibrant platform to enhance cultural understanding, encourage artistic collaborations, facilitate exchange programs, and strengthen ties between the creative communities of India and Portugal,” added Dr. Marwah.
Over the years, ICMEI has successfully established and managed numerous international forums dedicated to fostering cultural relations between India and countries around the world. The proposed Indo-Portugal Forum is expected to further enrich the cultural partnership between the two nations and create new opportunities for collaboration in the fields of cinema, media, performing arts, and education.
