First Secretary of Embassy of India in Nepal Visits Marwah Studios

Noida, India: Mr. Narayan Singh, IFS, First Secretary at the Embassy of India in Kathmandu, Nepal, paid a courtesy visit to Marwah Studios, Noida Film City, where he was warmly welcomed by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts, and President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI).

During the visit, Mr. Narayan Singh presented beautiful traditional Nepali handicrafts as a symbol of the rich cultural heritage and longstanding friendship between India and Nepal. The gesture was highly appreciated by the members of the creative fraternity present at the occasion.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah briefed the distinguished diplomat about the numerous initiatives undertaken by Marwah Studios, AAFT, and ICMEI to strengthen cultural, educational, and media relations between India and Nepal. He highlighted the activities of the Indo Nepal Film and Cultural Forum, which has been actively promoting people-to-people contacts and fostering greater cooperation through art, culture, cinema, and media.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Marwah shared that he was honored to be nominated as the Chair of the Indo Nepal Film and Cultural Forum by then the Prime Minister of Nepal, a recognition that reflects the strong and cordial relations between the two neighboring countries. He also spoke about various collaborative programs designed to bring the creative communities of India and Nepal closer together.

Mr. Narayan Singh appreciated the remarkable contribution of Marwah Studios and AAFT in promoting international cultural diplomacy and strengthening ties between nations through creative arts and media.

As a mark of respect and appreciation, Mr. Narayan Singh was conferred with the Life Membership of the International Film & Television Club of AAFT, one of the oldest and most active film clubs in the country. The honor recognized his contribution to fostering goodwill and strengthening India-Nepal relations.

The visit concluded with a fruitful exchange of ideas on enhancing cooperation in media, education, cinema, art, and culture between India and Nepal, further reinforcing the spirit of friendship shared by the two nations.
