Russian Delegation Visits Marwah Studios to Extend Support as India Leads BRICS Presidency 2026

Noida, India: A distinguished Russian delegation visited Marwah Studios, Noida Film City, to express its respect and support for India as the nation assumes the Chairmanship of BRICS for the year 2026. India officially took over the presidency of the influential bloc on January 1, 2026, under the theme “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability.”

The delegation was warmly welcomed by the Indo Russia Film and Cultural Forum, an initiative of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), dedicated to strengthening cultural and people-to-people relations between India and Russia.

The esteemed delegation included Yuri Safronov, Vladimir Kegrinskiy, Dr. Sergei Dvoryanov, Sergei Shuryein, Valeri Tokarev, and Olga Afanaseva, all prominent personalities actively engaged in international diplomacy, culture, and public affairs.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, Chancellor of AAFT University, and Chair of the Indo Russia Film and Cultural Forum, briefed the delegates on his long-standing association with Russia through numerous cultural, educational, and media initiatives. He highlighted the achievements of the Indo Russia Film and Cultural Forum in fostering bilateral relations and also spoke about his active involvement with BRICS-related initiatives, including his role as the Brand Ambassador of BRICS+ Fashion & Lifestyle.

Dr. Marwah stated, “India and Russia share a historic and time-tested friendship built on mutual trust, cooperation, and respect. As India leads BRICS in 2026, we look forward to creating stronger cultural, educational, and business partnerships among member nations. Through media, art, and culture, we can further reinforce the values of resilience, innovation, cooperation, and sustainability that define India’s BRICS presidency.”

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Dr. Sergei Dvoryanov of the International Diplomatic Club appreciated India’s growing leadership role on the global stage and lauded the efforts of Dr. Sandeep Marwah in promoting international understanding through cultural diplomacy.

Dr. Dvoryanov said, “India’s presidency of BRICS comes at a significant moment in global affairs. We are pleased to witness the strong commitment of Indian institutions such as Marwah Studios and the Indo Russia Film and Cultural Forum in bringing nations together through culture, education, and dialogue.
