Indo-Iran Film and Cultural Forum Joins Hands with Hindamooz to Strengthen Cultural Relations Between India and Iran

Noida, India:
 The Indo-Iran Film and Cultural Forum of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) has joined hands with Hindamooz, a prominent cultural organization from Iran, to promote art, culture, media, and creative collaboration between India and Iran.

A special meeting was held at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City, where Ms. Maryam Alizadeh, representing Hindamooz, visited to discuss new avenues of cooperation in the fields of cinema, performing arts, cultural exchange, education, and media. She was accompanied by Dr. Shami Ullaq, who facilitated the interaction and discussions.

Welcoming the distinguished guests, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts, and Chair of the Indo-Iran Film and Cultural Forum, emphasized the importance of cultural diplomacy in strengthening bilateral relations.

Dr. Marwah said, “India and Iran share centuries-old cultural, historical, and civilizational ties. Through the Indo-Iran Film and Cultural Forum, we have continuously worked to bring the creative communities of both nations closer. Our association with Hindamooz will open new opportunities for artists, filmmakers, writers, educators, and cultural practitioners to collaborate and learn from each other.”

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Maryam Alizadeh expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership and appreciated the efforts of ICMEI and Marwah Studios in building bridges between nations through art and culture. She highlighted the immense potential for collaborative projects that would showcase the rich cultural heritage and contemporary creative achievements of both countries.

Dr. Shami Ullaq also appreciated the initiative and stressed the need for sustained cultural engagement and people-to-people exchanges to further strengthen India-Iran relations. Dr Marwah presented his book “Sandeep Marwah -The Architect of Aspirations” to Ms Maryam Alizadeh.

The meeting concluded on a positive note with both organizations expressing their commitment to developing joint cultural programs, film screenings, workshops, exhibitions, educational exchanges, and other initiatives aimed at fostering greater understanding and friendship between the people of India and Iran.

The collaboration marks another significant step in the ongoing efforts of the Indo-Iran Film and Cultural Forum to promote international harmony, cultural exchange, and creative cooperation through the medium of art and culture.
