Dr. Sandeep Marwah of ICMEI Extends Greetings to Germany on Its National Day

Noida: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and Chair for the Indo German Film and Cultural Forum, extended his heartiest congratulations to H.E. Dr. Philipp Ackermann, Ambassador of Germany to India, and to the people of Germany on the auspicious occasion of Germany’s National Day celebrated on 3rd October.

Dr. Marwah lauded the deep-rooted and progressive relations between India and Germany, which have been built on a foundation of trust, collaboration, and mutual respect. “India and Germany share an exceptional partnership that extends across multiple spheres — from economy and education to art and culture. ICMEI, through the Indo German Film and Cultural Forum, has been proudly contributing to strengthening this bond through creative and cultural exchange,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

He further emphasized that Germany has been an active and valued participant in all major international events organized by ICMEI, including the Global Film Festival, Global Festival of Journalism, Global Fashion Week, Global Literary Festival, International Festival of Cellphone Cinema, International Documentary Film Festival, and International Food Festival, among others.

“Culture is the most vibrant bridge between nations, and we at ICMEI are committed to nurturing this spirit of friendship and collaboration between India and Germany through films, art, and media,” added Dr. Marwah.

Dr. Marwah reaffirmed his dedication to further enhancing cultural diplomacy and creative cooperation between the two nations, aiming to build stronger global partnerships through meaningful cultural engagement.

Noida, India: The Indo-German Film and Cultural Forum of ICMEI celebrated Germany’s National Day on October 3rd at the ICMEI headquarters in Noida, gathering members of the Chamber and other distinguished guests.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chair of the Indo-German Film and Cultural Forum and President of Marwah Studios, extended heartfelt congratulations on behalf of ICMEI and India’s art and culture community to H.E. Philipp Ackerman, Ambassador of Germany to India, and the people of Germany. “May the relationship between India and Germany continue to prosper for all time to come,” Dr. Marwah expressed.

Noida: India and Germany are exploring opportunities to collaborate in the field of film, television, and media. On the invitation of Dr. Sandeep Marwah Founder of Noida Film City, Younes Quaqasse from Germany recently visited Marwah Studios, located in Noida Film City, and expressed his interest in working together.

During the visit, the German delegate Younes Quaqasse was impressed by the state-of-the-art facilities and services offered by Marwah Studios, which has become a leading media hub in India. The German delegate expressed his admiration for the Indian film industry and highlighted the potential for collaboration between the two countries in various aspects of the entertainment industry.

The collaboration between India and Germany is expected to create new opportunities for growth and development in the entertainment industry and foster closer ties between the two nations. Dr. Marwah honoured Younes Ouaqasse with the life membership of International Film and Television club of Asian Academy of Film and Television and spoke about Indo German Film and Cultural Forum.

 Younes Ouaqasse  has been active in the EPP Since 2014 and was Chairman of the International Commission of the Young Union of Germany  for Foreign, European and Security Policy from 2014 to 2017.  From 2012 to 2015 he was state chairman of the RCDS  Thuringia. From December 2012 to December 2014 he was a member of the federal executive board of the CDU.  Before that he was from 2008 to 2010 federal chairman of the student Union  and in 2011 editor in Chief of the Young Union magazine
