New Delhi: Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum join hands with a social organization Magicka under the leadership of Raizy Bedi and conducted a cultural evening at Embassy of Uzbekistan to develop and promote relation between the two countries.

“I am pleased to invite our cultural Ambassador Sandeep Marwah and       Tourism Ambassador Ritu Berry to come forward and share their experience about Uzbekistan. I welcome you all to the land of beauty, color and diversity,” said H.E. Farod Arziev Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India.

“Our trip to Uzbekistan was the successful venture. Ample has been done and more is on the way. Festival of Indian Films at Tashkent is almost ready after promoting Uzbekistan as tourist and film destination. Lately, We have created a student’s committee on Uzbekistan in the department of Cinema, Journalism and fashion & Design at AAFT,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chair of Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum.

New Delhi: The Embassy of Uzbekistan in India organized a powerful, electrifying, entertaining evening on the occasion of Navruz festival at New Delhi.

Large number of artists from Uzbekistan including a musical group, fashion designer and other creative people were present there to give live performances to the most elite audience of the city.

Sandeep Marwah Chair Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum was special guest at the event who welcomed the artists from Uzbekistan. ”I am honored to be here to welcome the renowned dress designers and musicians from Uzbekistan. Soon we will be taking few artists from India to Tashkent also,” said Marwah.

“I extend my best wishes to all of you on the occasion Navruz. It is a chance to celebrate nature, to welcome a new year, and to enjoy flavorful food with friends, neighbors, and family,” said H.E. Farhod Arziev Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India welcoming the entire guest.

Earlier a roundtable discussion took place under the title “Uzbekistan: National Development Strategy. Rapid reforms 2017 to 2021” where e Uzbek ambassador to India H.E. Farhod Arziev presented the Hindi edition of the book to every participant.

ICMEI Scholarship For Student From Uzbekistan

Noida: ICMEI- International Chamber of Media An Entertainment Industry promised to deliver a scholarship to the deserving student from Uzbekistan under the guidance of Embassy of Uzbekistan to India.

To fulfill the requirement of the MOU of ICMEI with Embassy of Uzbekistan, a scholarship of 3 months course in Production & Direction & TV Journalism in 101th Batch of Asian Academy of Film And Television has been allotted to Khushan Rashidov. The scholarship covers the cost of the course and also the boarding and lodging for three months during the training period.

“I am over whelmed on the arrival of Khushan Rashidov, It has added to better relations of India with Uzbekistan. We will work on the new project soon,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.
