“Eight years back we started a new concept of mobile
Cinema-it was hard to digest by the people, today it has become a house hold
thing.” Said Sandeep Marwah popularly known as father of Mobile Cinema in the
World explains the needs and demands of mobile cinema on the curtain raiser of
7th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema.
“We produced the first film on mobile eight years back people were not ready to believe this format,
it is a common feature now with every mobile” added Karl Bardosh film maker
from New York University. “I am pleased to be part of this international event”
said Rajiv Sarin a film maker from New York.
“I am proud of AAFT and its team who always been working on
innovative ideas” said Safdar Khan Chairperson of Delhi Minorities Commission.
“Marwah Studios, even after so many professional commitments, never ignored corporate
social responsibility” said Susmita Shekhar President of a NGO.
Others who spoke on the occasion were Amit Agarwal, Kalyan
Sarkar and Dr Shobha. Later Sandeep Marwah honored the guest with the life
membership of International Film And Television Club.
