Noida: ICMEI President Sandeep Marwah, founder of Noida Film City, addressed the members of the International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) on the occasion of May Day on 1st May. In his address, Marwah highlighted the significance of May Day and its relevance to the media and entertainment industry.
Marwah spoke about the history of May Day and its origins in the labor movement, emphasizing the importance of recognizing the contributions of workers in the media and entertainment industry. He also stressed the need for improved working conditions and better remuneration for workers in this sector.
Furthermore, Marwah underscored the role of the media in advocating for workers’ rights and the need for media professionals to use their platforms to promote social justice. He asked Film Federation of India and Indian Motion Picture Producers Association to come forward for the good cause.
