Baku, Azerbaijan: Renowned cultural diplomat and Chancellor of AAFT University, Sandeep Marwah, was recently invited by the Indian Embassy in Baku during his visit to Azerbaijan. This significant visit underscores the strengthening cultural ties between India and Azerbaijan through the Indo Azerbaijan Film and Cultural Forum.
During his visit, Sandeep Marwah emphasized the importance of art in fostering cultural diplomacy. “By embracing art as a means of cultural diplomacy, nations can create a shared language that promotes dialogue, respect, and mutual understanding,” stated Marwah. Marwah, who is also a part of the Government of India, had a productive meeting at the Indian Embassy with the Cultural Head, Ajay Kumar Pandey. The meeting provided an opportunity for Marwah to brief Pandey on the various activities and initiatives of the Indo Azerbaijan Film and Cultural Forum. This forum plays a pivotal role in enhancing the cultural exchange between the two nations, promoting mutual respect and collaboration.
