New Delhi, 23rd August 2025: In a landmark cultural initiative, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University, has been formally nominated as the Chair of the Indo-Palestine Film and Cultural Forum (IPFCF) at the Embassy of Palestine, New Delhi.
The Forum has been established under the aegis of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) with the objective of strengthening cultural, artistic, and media collaborations between India and Palestine.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, while accepting the honour, said: “It is a privilege to be nominated as the Chair of the Indo-Palestine Film and Cultural Forum. India and Palestine share a long history of goodwill and friendship. This Forum will act as a vibrant platform to promote films, art, culture, literature, fashion, and education, bringing the creative communities of both nations closer together.”
Expressing his appreciation, H.E. Abdallah M. Abu Shawesh, Ambassador of Palestine to India, stated: “We are delighted to see Dr. Sandeep Marwah take on this important role. His vision, leadership, and longstanding commitment to global cultural exchange will add immense value to this Forum. We look forward to many fruitful collaborations that will highlight Palestine’s cultural identity while fostering deeper ties with India.”
The launch of the Indo-Palestine Film and Cultural Forum signifies a new chapter in India–Palestine relations, furthering cooperation in arts, media, and people-to-people exchange.
