LEFT HANDERS DAY CELEBRATED AT MARWAH STUDIOS

LEFT HANDERS DAY CELEBRATED AT MARWAH STUDIOS

Noida, 13th August 2025: Marwah Studios, the creative hub of Indian media and entertainment, observed International Left-Handers Day with a special gathering led by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios, and AAFT University. Dr. Marwah, himself a proud left-hander, marked the occasion by highlighting the uniqueness and achievements of left-handers across the globe.

The celebration brought awareness to the challenges and strengths of left-handed individuals, who constitute a small but impactful percentage of the world’s population. “Being left-handed is not just about using a different hand—it is about embracing a different perspective. History has shown us that left-handers have contributed enormously in shaping politics, culture, sports, business, and creativity,” said Dr. Marwah while addressing the gathering.

The event spotlighted several world leaders and icons who share this trait. Among them are former US Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, former UK Prime Minister David Cameron, wartime leader Winston Churchill, and the future King of the UK, Prince William. In the world of entertainment, global icons such as Justin Bieber, Oprah Winfrey, Sir Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, and Jennifer Lawrence are also celebrated left-handers.

In India too, many eminent personalities are left-handed, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, industrialist Ratan Tata, Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar, comedian Kapil Sharma, and legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar, technology pioneer Bill Gates, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, and Hollywood star Keanu Reeves also stand as inspirations to the left-handed community.

The observance at Marwah Studios not only recognized these global achievers but also reinforced the message of inclusivity and acceptance of diversity. The event concluded with a collective pledge to celebrate differences and encourage young people to take pride in their uniqueness.
