Lord Remi Ranger Honoured with Patronship of Indo UK Cultural Forum

Noida: Lord Remi Ranger has been honored with the Patronship of well-established Indo UK Film and Cultural Forum of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry on his visit to 11th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2023 by the President Dr. Sandeep Marwah Founder of Noida Film City & Chancellor of AAFT University at Marwah Studios Film City Noida.

“Indo-UK relationship through art and culture has the potential to strengthen bilateral ties. Initiatives like cultural exchange programs, joint productions, and showcasing each other’s art can foster mutual understanding and appreciation. It is important to prioritize these initiatives and provide support to artists and cultural organizations to deepen the relationship between the two nations,” said Lord Remi Ranger addressing the conference at Marwah Studios.

India-UK relations have come a long way, and there is still a lot of potential to explore. Both countries can collaborate in areas like trade, education, and culture. Sandeep Marwah’s insights highlight the need for sustained efforts to further strengthen the ties and capitalize on the opportunities available.

Lord Rami Ranger is a founding member of the Hindu Forum of Britain, and Chairman of the Pakistan, India & UK Friendship Forum, and the British Sikh Association. His company, Sun Mark Ltd, is the only company in the UK to have awarded 5 consecutive Queens Awards for the enterprise.

He is also the Patron of the Punjabi Society of British Isles, Combat Stress and Fellow of the Prince’s Trust. As a key supporter of youth and skills development, Rami is a member of the government’s Apprenticeship Delivery Board and an Ambassador for the Food and Drinks Industry in the development of apprenticeships and job creation throughout the UK.

In 2005 he was made a Member of the British Empire and in 2016 the Commander of British Empire for his services to British Business and the Asian Community.
