Noida: In a ceremony held in Noida during 11th Global Festival of Journalism, Lord Remi Ranger of House of Lords British Parliament and the Chairman of the British Asian Trust, honoured Sandeep Marwah for his significant contribution to strengthening the relationship between India and the UK through art and culture.
Lord Ranger commended Marwah for his tireless efforts in promoting Indian culture and heritage through his work as a filmmaker and media personality. He also acknowledged Marwah’s role in fostering greater understanding and collaboration between the two countries in the areas of education, business, and tourism.
Marwah, who is the founder of the Asian Academy of Film & Television and the Marwah Studios, expressed his gratitude to Lord Ranger and emphasized the importance of cultural exchange in building stronger ties between nations. He highlighted the need for continued efforts to promote India-UK relations and encouraged greater participation from artists, filmmakers, and cultural organizations to deepen the connection.
The event was attended by dignitaries from the UK and India, including H.E. Dr. Ashraf Shikhliyev Ambassador of Azerbaijan to India and H.E. Muhamed Cengic Ambassador of Bosnia And Herzegovina to India, business leaders, and representatives from the media, arts and culture sector. It was a fitting tribute to Marwah’s outstanding work in promoting bilateral ties and strengthening the bond between the two countries.
