Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University, Addresses the Nation on Independence Day: “Education is the Key to Success”

New Delhi, 15th August 2025: On the historic occasion of India’s 79th Independence Day, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts and Mentor of the Centre for Education Growth and Research (CEGR), addressed the education fraternity and the nation with an inspiring message on the role of education in shaping India’s future.

With nearly four decades of unmatched contribution to the creative arts and education sector, Dr. Marwah emphasized that “Education is the key to success. If we want our country to grow at a faster pace, we must give a new look to education and approach it with greater sincerity and commitment.”

Dr. Marwah, also the visionary founder of Noida Film City, called upon the entire education ecosystem—policy makers, institutions, teachers, and students—to embrace innovation, creativity, and holistic learning as the driving forces of nation-building. He underlined that education must go beyond classrooms, equipping students with skills, values, and a global outlook to make India a leader in the knowledge economy.

“True independence will be achieved when every young Indian is empowered with quality education that nurtures both intellect and character. The time has come to prioritize education as the strongest pillar of national growth,” Dr. Marwah said in his address.

His powerful message on Independence Day resonated with educators and thought leaders across the country, reinforcing the urgent need for reforms, sincerity, and renewed vision in the Indian education system.
