| AAFT and Rotary E-Club of Winter Haven Celebrate International Day of Cooperatives at Marwah Studios |
Noida: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), in association with AAFT and the Rotary E-Club of Winter Haven, celebrated the International Day of Cooperatives with a simple yet meaningful program at Marwah Studios, Film City, Noida. The event was supported by the World Peace Development and Research Foundation (WPDRF).
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the Rotary E-Club of Winter Haven, emphasized the vital role of the cooperative movement in fostering inclusive growth, social harmony, and sustainable development. He stated, “The spirit of cooperation is the foundation of a peaceful and progressive society. Cooperatives empower communities by encouraging participation, equality, and shared responsibility. They are powerful instruments for economic development and social transformation.”
Dr. Marwah further highlighted that cooperation is not limited to business but extends to education, culture, media, and international relations. He reiterated the mission of ICMEI and AAFT to strengthen global friendship and understanding through art, culture, education, and collaborative initiatives. He also appreciated the continued support of WPDRF in promoting the ideals of Love, Peace, and Unity through Art and Culture.
The gathering reflected on the global significance of the International Day of Cooperatives and acknowledged the contributions of cooperative institutions in improving livelihoods, creating employment opportunities, and building resilient communities.
