AAFT International Skill Development Council Celebrates World Youth Skills Day 2026 at Marwah Studios

Noida, July 15, 2026: The AAFT International Skill Development Council (ISDC) celebrated World Youth Skills Day 2026 with great enthusiasm at Marwah Studios, Film City, Noida, in association with the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and the Rotary E-Club of Winter Haven. The event witnessed the participation of students, faculty members, industry professionals, and distinguished guests committed to promoting skill development and youth empowerment.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the AAFT International Skill Development Council, inspired the students by highlighting the importance of skill-based education in building successful careers and contributing to nation-building.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Marwah said: “We are proud to be one of the oldest skill development institutions in the country. Today, the AAFT International Skill Development Council offers skill development programmes through 16 specialised departments, providing industry-oriented education that has become a source of inspiration for many universities and educational institutions across India. Skill development is the bridge between education and employment, and it empowers young people to become confident professionals, innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders.”

He further stated that the purpose of the AAFT International Skill Development Council is to create a highly skilled, globally competent workforce by providing practical, industry-driven education, encouraging innovation, fostering entrepreneurship, and building strong collaborations with national and international institutions. The Council is committed to preparing youth to meet the evolving demands of the global economy while contributing to India’s vision of becoming a knowledge and skill capital of the world.

Dr. Marwah emphasised that education must move beyond classrooms to provide hands-on experience, creativity, and professional excellence. He encouraged students to continuously upgrade their skills, embrace new technologies, and remain committed to lifelong learning.

The celebration featured interactive sessions on emerging career opportunities, the future of skill development, industry expectations, entrepreneurship, and leadership. Faculty members and industry experts motivated students to develop practical competencies that complement academic knowledge.

The programme concluded with a renewed pledge by the AAFT International Skill Development Council, ICMEI, and Rotary E-Club of Winter Haven to continue promoting quality skill development initiatives, international collaborations, and youth empowerment programmes that prepare future generations for global opportunities.
