Noida, August 1, 2026: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), had the privilege of meeting the Hon’ble Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India, Shri L. Murugan, during a recent interaction where he presented a comprehensive overview of the wide-ranging activities and achievements of ICMEI and Marwah Studios.
During the meeting, Dr. Marwah briefed the Minister on the extensive work being undertaken by ICMEI in strengthening India’s cultural diplomacy through films, media, art, literature, education, and international collaborations. He highlighted the organization’s initiatives in building strong cultural relations with countries across the globe and promoting India’s soft power through creative industries.
Dr. Marwah also informed Shri L. Murugan about the numerous world records established by Marwah Studios in media education, filmmaking, skill development, international cultural exchange, and creative arts. He shared details of AAFT’s pioneering contribution to media education, the institution’s global outreach spanning 145 countries, and the remarkable milestones achieved over the past three decades.
The Hon’ble Minister appreciated the extraordinary efforts of Dr. Sandeep Marwah and his institutions in positioning India as a global hub for media, entertainment, and cultural exchange. Shri L. Murugan commended the consistent contribution of Marwah Studios and ICMEI towards nation-building through education, innovation, and cultural diplomacy, acknowledging their role in enhancing India’s image on the international stage.
